Raining, thundering! 43°, gloomy!! We really need this rain!!
I'll call your gloomy, and raise you my "Dreary".
Cold, high humidity (damp), light wind, random sprinkling rain.
You gonna fold?

It's a strange one today. Temps in the high 4 or low 50s, that's normal. But the forecast said rain. When I first went out this morning the "mist" was so fine that I didn't even know it was raining. That generally happens just before something hits or as something is passing over. I wasn't impressed & wouldn't have called that RAIN. Here's the deal though, it's been doing the fine mist thing for 5 hours. That never happens here, everything generally blows through this area. My empty back water barrels have about 2 feet of water in them now & that's in each one (they are daisy chained).

Our garden is finished for the year & we put away our fountain so I'm draining the other set of water barrels just in case this continues tomorrow.

Think it's fixin' to clear up out your way!!

46 and cloudy here. Friend said there was a smidge of snow this morning but not enough to stay on the ground. They don't even sell ice scrapers, snow shovels, or snow tires down here and people can't handle even 1" of snow. That is not an exaggeration.
It's about that bad in north central Texas! People should just stay home and not screw the driving up for those who have to get out.....nurses, dialysis patients, etc.!! But noooo, they instead become entertainment on TV!!

I’m not impressed with the Saturday drivers! Coming home from work early in the pouring rain and all but one vehicle encounter was squirrely. Not good to drive too aggressively or fast on wet Texas roads. Gets slippery!
Yup been raining almost all day, chilly.
Glad I'm home and glad you are too now!! And it's COLD, down to 42°!!

One inch of snow can be harder to drive on than 6". It just packs and turns to ice. I feel safer once our snow banks build up to at least 2 feet high. It's like a safety barrier to keep from sliding off the road.

I think it is starting!!!
The "Magic Month".😀
(when neither the A/C or heater runs.)
Why do I care?
I'm the one that pays the power bill.:)
A bill less than $99?

Well, I heard it run a few times today. :(
Trying to crush my dream.
Only had to make it thru the 8th to get my wish.
