Family in Houston is getting hit with a blizzard. They sent photos of the street they live on. I asked, "Why does no one have their cars in the garage? They are all parked in the driveways and street. Didn't you all know the snow was coming?"

That thermometer is sitting 1 foot away from 18 linear feet of glass windows. Yea, that area does get a little chilly.

The picture is a bit misleading because it includes snow that blew off the roof.
Actual accumulation = ~6".

Hey we just hit our high for the day I think at 16 degrees. Low was negative 9 this morning. I waited till it was 3 degrees to do outside chores this morning. Dog and I came in three times during the hr and a half it takes me to do all the animals, just to warm up. So cold, it hurt to breathe. He's been laying around in front of the woodburner all day.
