Did not get anything other than a dusting of snow last night, and its all gone now as the day warmed up. It will be lethal if it freezes tonight though.
Down south they got a bit, even by the sea, and have power outages.

This storm surprised everyone... no severe weather warning, no tornado watch. Just Boom! Tornado on the ground.

It's lifted but I'm still under the gun so-to-speak. At least for the next 15min.

Worst part, several thousand without power from the winds 40+ in this line of storms. And an arctic blast coming right behind... be 32f by daylight. Gonna be some cold people without power.

Tuscaloosa and points east are still waiting for it...

update... 2500+ without power and the number is climbing.

Also... storms (unstable air) is dropping to the southeast for the next few hours...

NO, I got my laundry done yesterday!! I wouldn't want you driving in all that mess to get here and do my laundry!! Just stay put!!
Even tater tots couldn't convince me fight my way through the snow morons here. They can't drive when it's dry and sunny, let alone with snow :p

The small amount of snow we had here is gone, freezing though. Had a good bit to drive this morning but only one slip on a country road. The wind has picked up and the sky is that bright gray, but we are under an ice warning for the rest of the week. Its very strange the south got hit, most public services and schools are closed, and 40k without power. There are areas in the Kerry mountains cut off with snow that were not this bad in living memory. It's normally the north.
Nowhere near as bad as your storm - stay safe everyone!

Had a very good friend whose father used to say "People around here don't drive. They aim." Truer words were never spoken. Throw in snow, and it's like playing bumper cars.

20* and sunny now.

Thursday it says we will have 7-8" of snow! And another possible 2" on Friday.

Thats more than we have ever had in my 11 years here.

I'm gonna have to reschedule my chemo on Thursday.
You missed the 13" in 2009!! We were supposed to get 1-3", oops, missed that one!!

Thursday my wife is going to drive 100 miles to the doctor (one way). They are saying that we will have snow that day. She is going to watch the forecast & if it doesn't change, she is going to cancel the appointment.

Since she is from MN she KNOWS how to drive in snow. But we have drivers here that don't even know how to drive in rain so it's safer to just stay home.
