Climate change is a fact of life. Since day 1 this earth has been changing. Always has, always will. Our issue is learning to adapt ourselves and our ways of growing food to those changes
^^^Indeed! In 1970 I began working as a heavy equipment operator on a deep excavation site in downtown Los Angeles. At a depth of 120 ft below the street level, I exposed a 6’ thick shelf of ocean bottom, composed of sea shells, bones and solidified mud. I’ve uncovered fish fossils imbedded in rock in the mountain range above Hollywood, at 900 msl. The earth has changed every day since it was first made, yet tree-hugging dirt-worshipers seem to think change is a recent phenomenon.

The snow accumulation at Pensacola (8.9 inches), New Orleans (8 inches) & Mobile (7.5 inches) are beating New York City, Sioux Falls, Des Moines, Albuquerque, Reno, and even Anchorage, Alaska, which has only racked up 3.8 inches so far in meteorological winter, so far, which runs from Dec. 1 to Feb. 1. Anchorage had more than 25 inches of snow in October and November.

It warmed up today with a low of just 37 at 07:00

The weather guessers can't make up their minds. First they were saying in Dec that we would have a warm winter through March. Then at the beginning of this month they switched to it being colder and now at the end of the month they are back to predicting warmth.

Made it to the upper 50's today. Low tonight is 33f. Getting back to normal. I've had enough winter, til next year.
We got up to 62° today!!:woo hoo:
Finally saying goodbye to the Arctic Blast/Polar Vortex crap!

All this 20's overnight and 40's during the day is getting a little annoying as my old bones are feeling it. And mind you to actually feel the 40's you have to be in direct sun. Any shady spots haven't thawed yet. It's been 2 weeks? 3 weeks? Idk I've lost track. ENOUGH ALREADY

You got yourself a northern Minnesota summer right there!

5 this morning rocketing towards a high of 15 today......Yesterday was cold but brilliant sunshine, we took a amazing drive out along the eastern front of the rockies, had to drive around the mountain sheep in the road. Then we stopped at a unique small restaurant off the beaten track and asked the chef to make whatever he wanted for our lunch...
The chef was originally a successful restaurant owner in Florida so we had a good laugh about the weather down there.....He currently lives in a camper out back of the restaurant with Grizzley and elk for company...... and loves it.
