They moved the start and finish from Los' Anchorage to Fairbanks, this year.

It is a totally different route. It is called "The Northern Route".

Same with our big Minnesota dogsled race, which is called "The John Bear Grease Sled Dog Marathon." They not only moved the date back, but the start was also moved to a location farther north in Minnesota, changed from Duluth to Two Harbors. This is a two-day, 300-mile race. It is normally used as a qualifier for the Iditarod.

Well in the upper 30s and low to mid 40s for a while and that is okay as it's slowing down the melt. Don't want a too fast melt down or we will pay dearly this summer for a fast melt down.
