p.s. if gas prices get under $2 a gallon and i can get me a little 4x4 economy rig gets 30mpg...well i am going to burn up me some usfs logging roads and more....

i end my nightly prayers with please $1.50 gas !
I've been outraged at the price of gas ever since it hit 45¢ a gallon.

Which brings an even older memory up about the price of gas when I was driving cross country once...

I remember buying gas at a gas station south of Birmingham for 30¢ a gallon. Not 29.99¢. Not 30.99¢. But an even 30¢. Because the gas station owner thought it was dishonest to tack that .99¢ on the price to make it seem cheaper than it really was.

I like outdoors. Natural beauty. I don't like big cities. I don't like "fancy". I think most of what I want will be found in places where there aren't a ton of people. If places like that even exist anymore.

All of the below, no matter what they are, or how famous they may be, would be a hard NO for me:

I don't think those photos are real. I have been to Paris a few times, one time on a holiday and I have never once seen crowds like that or anywhere near. Been to Chichen Iza too and there was hardly anyone there
I think they are photoshopped

LOL even the Taj Mahal in India wasn't THAT crowded !! But it was the most crowded place I have been and I got anxiety when some Japanese tourist shoved me and I almost fell down

if you want a nice place with few people, Isle of Skye

I agree. That pic must have been from some festival they had down there. :(
When we went to Chichén Itzá, there were only a few people wandering around all of those dozens of acres.
And yes, I did climb up those thousands of steps, and took great 35mm pictures with my 300x zoom lens.:D

I thought the place was creepy , they threw the prisoners off the steps to kill them, they threw the women and child sacrifices in the little water hole, and so on. Son asked " is this blood" on some red spots on the steps LOL ( he's not in the photo, he was like 8 or so) . I liked the iguanas
