Last night, I made a 2/3 pound double cheeseburger on a 100% whole wheat bun. That and a glass of milk was my supper. This morning, I'm going on a hike so I opted for my favorite breakfast cereal - Special K Protein. I don't eat a lot of it because it's pretty high carb, but my blood sugar was lower than normal this morning and it has almost 25g of protein per bowl, if you heap it up a little. So I killed 2 birds with one stone, raised blood sugar and got plenty of protein to start the day!

That is basically what one of the cheeseburger subs from our favorite Italian place is. A double cheeseburger. But man are they good! You eat one of those and you don't need anything else lol

Chicken burgers on the grill.

Ground chicken mixed with mayo, avocado, red onion, green onion, yellow bell pepper, garlic, green chile peppers, jalapeno, cheddar cheese, chili powder, oregano, salt, pepper, and smoked paprika.

I'm thawing out some 8oz NY strip steaks. I plan on grilling those. And I'm roasting some potatoes ( thinking rosemary) and some steamed Cali mix veggies

Today I'm making crabcakes, homemade lipton garlic and herb noodles ( angel hair pasta, olive oil and herb and garlic dressing mix) and steamed broccoli. I have some italian bread that needs to be used up so I'll make garlic bread to go with it
