What beer do you use? Also, if you need to thicken it try dry potato flakes instead of flour!!Carne guisada. Not quite as good as what I could get in south Tx but I'll keep this recipe until I find a better one.

Have also made it with pork, and served over rice!It's kinda a beef stew. Tender shredded beef with onion, garlic, bell peppers, tomatoes, cumin, a very small amount of cayenne pepper in a not quite gravy sauce wrapped in a flour tortilla. Some people add jalapenos but I don't like spicy..
