Yes it was from scratch.
Yes, my 76 year old mother shares recipes.
She got it from POST magazine; Sour Milk Old Fashion Gingerbread.
But I will write it down for you and post it when I go over this week.

Warm today, not many of those days for a while. I decided to smoke some dogs with pecan wood. Picked up potato salad from the good deli in the big town last night, yummy.

I love steamed shrimp... however, I started buying cooked 24oz bags of frozen medium shrimp with the shell on. It's pricey.. $22. but I can get 6 or 7 meals, 8 or 10 shrimp at a time served as a shrimp cocktail. They thaw in about 20 minutes in water. Add some fries of veggies... I can still get out with less than $3 a meal.

What's this with triscuits and rosemary... please explain this to me.

Tonight I had hotdogs. I hadn't made french fries in my air fryer in a while. The other night at the store they only had yukon gold potatoes so I got a bag. They actually made really good fries tonight!

@Peanut Triscuit makes a flavor with rosemary. They are still as salty as ever but tasty! We got 2 lbs. per bag of raw shrimp for $10, bought two bags. Next time maybe we'll have shrimp lime cilantro or shrimp scampi.
I think we fix spaghetti once a week. That was dinner tonight, along with more good salad. Most of the family hates spaghetti but I don't make them eat it. lol They hungry? They eat. I prefer angel hair pasta. I tried making my own sauce a few times, #FAIL, and always go with bottled. No, I'm not Italian!

Tonight will be roasted turkey, baked sweet potato for me and regular potato for DH, and salad. Rest of turkey will get sliced and frozen for Thanksgiving Day so one less thing to do then!

Wife is having a hen party tonight, so if she follows routine, she'll busy preparing and short on time so I'll get leftovers.

Flat iron steak smothered in gravy, sliced mushrooms
Fresh broccoli steamed(will take stem make french fries later)
home made mash potatoes with unsalted butter, fresh cracked black pepper
unsweet tea or coffee
1/2 cup of frozen blueberries served over sugar free ice cream
Will make enough for several meals.
Remind me later not to buy 5 pound flat iron steak that thing is huge for one person.
But made stir fry with it, prepped enough got 5 more meals in freezer for later.
Got 5 more meals of PHO at least my version of PHO. soup in freezer.
Will have enough to have 5 meals of smothered steak home made version of tv dinners for freezer.
Make beef and noodles with it got two days of meals for Estelle and I from a third of third.
After smothered steaks meals go in freezer, will have enough for 6 ounce steak, baked potato, corn on cob(fresh from friends garden),small salad also from friends garden.

Pork Roast,potatoes,carrots,mushrooms,mini sweet peppers(red,yellow,orange),green pepper
onion.garlic,celery in crock pot for supper and lunch tomorrow.
Pineapple and cottage cheese for dessert.

Made vegetable soup with the leftovers from Pork Roast for lunch.
Will have enough for supper too.
Will go to Mom's tomorrow and get some of her leftover lasgna.
Might have Spaghetti and Meat sauce for supper tomorrow night.
Will have little britches tomorrow, so will fix something she likes.
She loves great Grand dad's spaghetti. But not Great grandma's spaghetti.
Go figure.
