We're heading out to a party in a minute. They're having BBQ catered in. Yum!

Went to a Steakhouse. I wanted to order the $200 40oz Tomahawk steak, but the lady convinced me that the $50 16oz Delmonico steak was likely a better option. Since she was closer to sober I accepted her advice and it was delicious. She had seared Maine scallops.

A good bbq sounds great sometimes. The nearest bbq place that I know of is about 110 miles north.

Jake was at the parade tonight so I decided to do the cooking tonight. It was simple a little locally raised ribeye and a sweet tater.

Loaded Waffle Fries: seasoned waffle fries covered in shredded cheddar, bacon crumbles, green onion, and dallops of sour cream. 7up Zero was the soda of the day. I was already 3 beers in by dinner.

Sipping a Bulleit bourbon as it cooks.

Cheese burgers from a cow I once knew. Sweet potato fries, the potatoes from our garden. I love it when dinner is very local.
