We really like ours and it has canned lots of food in past 7 or so years.

Maybe have stir fry with cabbage,onions and chicken .

We're having some fried chicken from walmart lol I also picked up some potato salad to go with it. We'll have a picnic while its sleeting and snowing today

That’s one our favorite go to’s also. I just add some home style baked beans.

BacP that sounds really tender. I need to buy another crock pot ours broke several years ago.

Wife uses it a lot. Throw something in, go to work, come home and dinner is mostly done. She does the roast thing and makes great barbq. Being so tender makes it easy to pull apart with forks.

They are handy we need to get another one soon. When we lived in the tent for a couple months we always cooked it in, we had electric in the campground.Ate good too.

I got one off of the goodwill site for $150. They don't show up there often but I keep looking.

We are going to have chicken fried rice.

Potato soup, with leftover rice, shrimp, cream corn.
It was good, just not what I expected.
Have ate something similar, just different tonight.
Might put roast, carrots, potatoes in crock pot in the morning for something different.
Soup seems to have more juice than normal.

I'm making beef veggie soup with the leftover pot roast and the broth. I have some leftover bread to use up so I'll make some garlic bread to go with it. Hubby likes garlic bread lol


One time I had some garlic toast leftover so I made some mini pizzas with it. He went nuts over them. Now I have to make it all the time as a lunch for when he's off work

Just finished eating. Steaks (beef) and broccoli and I fixed my loving wife some sourdough and covered a slice with butter, finely ground garlic and shredded parmesan cheese. If I made it with potato wedges I would call it steak fries. She is the one from Texas so I let her call it Texas toast. No bread for me - It is NOT KETO.

Same as last night... I warmed up salmon patties and field peas from the fridge but I did make a fresh batch of french fries in the air fryer.

Not the biscuits. Not the cottage cheese, but my own peaches. Bought the cantaloupe. Garbanzo stew from scratch. Didn't kill the chicken leftover, but I cooked it.

Chicken casserole: macaroni and cheese with can of peas thrown in(peas not can), canned chicken topped with bread crumbs cooked in oven at 350* for 15 minutes.
Cook macaroni and cheese first.
I cook mine with cream of chicken mushroom soup.
Last five minutes set oven on broil to toast bread crumbs.
Also prepared oven fried chicken drumsticks, baked potatoes, fresh green beans placed on parchment lined cookie sheet.
As chicken cooks use grease to coat the green beans with silvered garlic and almonds.
Learned that in cooking class this term.
Have pinto beans soaking, might put ham in with that in crock pot comfort food.
That should take care of the dinner tonight , lunch tomorrow.

Chili is simmering in the crock pot.
Smells yummy.
Taco meat is cooked and in refrig.
Casserole is going to freezer in the morning.

It's Sunday, so it's 1/2 a Costco frozen pepperoni pizza, dressed with olives, onions, mushrooms and extra cheese A small glass of Costco Irish Liquor (Baileys) for her, a beer for me.

I made another batch of lemon pepper wings... getting the hang of it now... yummy. We had a special dinner last night for for my dad's 85 birthday. We had purple hull peas canned from the garden, sweet corn canned from the g. As well as fried okra frozen from the garden.

I had plenty of left overs to go with my wings. Even my dad's favorite... Coconut cake.

Hey, if in the past I posted dad was 85... give me a break. It usually takes me a couple of minutes to figure out how old I am... Now he is officially 85.

Funny thing, his birthday was the same day as his dad's, my grandpa. When I was young it easy to keep up with how old they both were.
