What Are You Having For Dinner

Trying to watch my meals as I have a problem with portions. Also with any kind of sausage. Just sausage and a Knorr side together as my main with some veggies. I need someone to tell me "put the chalupa down, step away from the chalupa and nobody will get hurt". Except with me it's sausage of any kind. Reg meal, snack, midnight raid. I've lost almost 20 pounds and it's been a hard thing. My will is going to say I want to be buried with a 3 ring pack of smoked sausage.

I forgot pictures - but we just had wifey's Cucumber soup! Yum-yum! With a little garlic bread to dip. I don't know how she makes it, but it really hits the spot!

We have debated this for the last 30 minutes, and will continue to debate it for the next few hours. I am not cooking tonight so the ladies are ordering something in. Right now the two top choices seem to be Chinese food or Indian food.

I'm heating up some bacon wrapped & stuffed Jalapenos I bought at the meat counter in Kroger. Had them a couple weeks ago - they are very good.

Dinner will be leftover NY Strip Steak and corn. But I guess that won't happen until 9pm tonight! (if I'm even hungry at that point).

Ginger Tofu cooked in olive oil with mixed rices and green onions chopped and garlic too
soaked in REAL maple syrup from a friend

And a cup of very warm warm warm
Black Chai tea with REAL honey from a friend
and some cardamom

My Irishman, great friends and I went to Fish Fry.
Baked bean, coleslaw, french fries, onion rings and catfish all you can eat for $15 each.
Iced tea.
I'm full.
My American Legion Post even sent home fish, fries for tomorrow's lunch for 4.

I bailed on making dinner last night and went to the chip shop. Back to veg tonight, baby potatoes from the garden and some salmon wrapped in pastry.

Tonight might be Pizza, might be a new restaurant in Waynesville, Today is a foggy notion of things to do.

The lady is cooking. She is making something called a "chicken crescent wreath" and finger veggies with homemade spinach dip.

So she made a mixture of diced chicken, finely chopped onion, red pepper, spinach, artichoke, shredded cheddar and some other kind of cheese, cream of chicken soup and seasonings. Then she laid out crescent dough in a circle and folded them back on themselves so the whole ordeal looked like a wreath before baking it. It was pretty good.

Alex and I had porterhouse steaks on the porch this evening. It’s really strange that Jake is not around all the time these days. He is doing a night flight down into Oklahoma this evening.

Looks good. What do you think about the Stone House wine? They are located an hour or so from us. We have a few bottle of their stuff put back.

Edit: Wife reminded me of leftover pasta and chicken from the other day ... so I'm eating that too!

You seem to really like creamy things ... so do I.
