There are Jersey Mike's sub shops in the DFW area. Over near Preston Road in Dallas/Carrolton area ...we ate there once or twice. So good. There is at least one more on the west side.

Picked up a few packs of good quality mince and cooked it all yesterday. Last night had spag bol, and made some lasagnes for the freezer at the same time.
Have mash left over from Sundays dinner and a load of veg to use up, so today having mince pie with them.

Tonight I am making shepherds pie. Only instead of mashed potatoes, I used half mashed potatoes and half mashed cauliflower.

Oil and vinegar, actually. You must not be from the east coast like me, @Pearl , and @Tommyice We are PHILLY cheesesteak fans. That's how the real ones are made. I asked about vinegar last night and the guy said oh allergies. I scoffed. Ain't nobody allergic to vinegar.

Have some spaghetti sauce cooking, and will be making french bread soon. Doubt that husband will eat it, so there's plain turkey and greenbeans.
