Kids had sausage and cheese hot sandwiches, on homemade bread. And also cereal. I used the leftover turkey meat from yesterday and cooked it with rice and dehydrated veggies, will have plenty of leftovers for awhile.

I simmered turkey and vegetables in bone broth all day in the crock pot. Had it over pasta. Homemade bread.
Turkey sammich loaded with fixins
I was all ready to make up a pot of spaghetti, and the wife said she wanted Vietnamese or Thai. No cooking for me - I can't make either of those! Thai won out. She had chicken Pot Stickers and Drunken Noodles with shrimp. I had Fish Cakes and Basil Chicken with rice. The fish cakes were fair, everything else was excellent. There was nothing bad or wrong with the fish cakes, just not what I expected - not that I knew what to expect in the first place. They were just kind of blah. Nothing much to them IMHO. I loved my Basil Chicken though. I went for medium on the spice level which was perfect for me. You can order it "no spice", mild, medium, hot or "Thai hot".
Fried up some catfish, had rice on the side left over from last night.
Meatloaf, green beans, salad, mashed potatoes, garlic bread.
Mongo hoagie and spicy fries.
Chicken salad sandwiches and slaw.
Grilling steaks!
I am making Loaded Enchiladas: ground beef, pinto beans, cilantro lime rice, yellow onion, jalapeno, diced tomato, cilantro, Mexican cheese blend, and pepper jack cheese inside / topped with enchilada sauce, shredded cheddar and black olives. Dr. Pepper is soda of the day.

It was one of those....eat it right off the grill no side dishes.......steak nights!! Pumpkin pie from Sam's Club for dessert with vanilla ice cream!!

Husband wanted his diet dinner, so little granddaughter and I had some fried eggs and french toast from the bread I made this morning.
"Smoked Subs".
I found a deli that has real "smoked" meats and cheeses. I picked up some pecan smoked turkey, smoked cheddar, tomatoes, red onion, romaine lettuce and some sub rolls. I will also be making some bourbon brown sugar BBQ sauce for them that I will mix in to a little mayo.
I have some cream soda in the fridge.

We'll be having salmon tacos in about an hour. Wife made her famous "Egg McGuffins" for breakfast. Yum!

Leftovers...meatloaf, mashed potatoes, cauliflower, some fresh bread.
Bone in ribeye, rare, baked potato with butter and sour cream, garlic toast. I raised the beef and the butter from a friend’s cow…. Yummy!
Leftover grill meat!!
I had uncooked ground beef leftover from burgers earlier in the week, so I ended up making making smash burgers again tonight. Today was the last evening not having strong winds predicted for a while, so I wanted to get the grilling done before that mess starts up. Things are going much easier with the Blackstone now that I've got a few cooks on it completed. Starting to figure out the routines, timings and heat control a little bit.
But oops, I forgot to cook the fries! So we had chips instead.
