$3.89 REG.
Good for you but that is strange. Gasoline with ethanol has less "power" than straight gasoline. A gallon of gasoline has 1/3 more energy than a gallon of ethanol so the fuel injectors have to add more fuel if it is an ethanol/gasoline blend. In 2007 my friend's new truck was designed for E85 and he said back then, when fuel prices were a lot cheaper, that E85 needed to be at least 30 cents cheaper per gallon to make up for the loss of fuel mileage so if the gas station had E85 a lot cheaper he would burn that but if not he used the straight gasoline.Paid 3.19 for E15 yesterday. Paid 2.99 for the tank before that. For some reason my truck seems to love E15. I get 10 to 15% better mpg with it...
I never saw a She Will (She'll) station. Whenever I asked she said she wont. =-)3.05 yesterday, at my favorite She'll station!!
I know. All my other vehicles got worse mpg on E15. I know E85 vehicles usually lose at least 25%. But my truck went from 19-21 mpg to getting 21-23!Good for you but that is strange. We need some Australians to weigh in.
That opens a Pandora's box.I saw $3.49 per gallon of regular unleaded at my usual station the other day, but I didn't stop since I already had plenty of fuel. I know one thing: I'll be topping off EVERY vehicle AND filling a couple of 5-gallon plastic jerry jugs I have BEFORE the November election, because ya KNOW the cost will only go UP as soon as 'ELECTORAL FRAUD DAY' is in the history books.
It's our fault.Hoohaw. Saw $3.80 today, up a dime (or 1,5 dimes, depending) overnight. Considering issuing an ultimatum to Exxon-Mobil.
Come over to 'The Dark Side'.Marketwatch said: "Exxon Mobil (ticker: XOM) declared a quarterly dividend of 91 cents a share, up 3.4% from 88 cents. ....
Exxon stock, which yields 3.2%, has returned 81% this year through Oct. 27, including dividends, compared with minus 19% for the S&P 500, according to FactSet.
Pharmaceutical company AbbVie (ABBV) said it will boost the quarterly payout to $1.48 a share, compared with $1.41 currently. That’s a 5% increase. The annualized dividend will rise to $5.92 a share.
Unfortunately, my Life Savings have dwindled to ~$5K, which will be going down, not up, but may be marginally enough to bury me with, in the non-Potters Field part of the cemetery - if I don't hang around too long. The Veteran's Burial Benefit ain't as much help as it used to be.It's our fault.
