its cause it aint english...its appalachian talk !...lolLol, I have trouble sometimes and I was born in the SE! There’s 4 dialects just in my state. Mtn dialect is the most difficult for me, english influence. Where I live had a stronger french influence, sentence structure is different. (verb/noun, noun/verb)
I was helping a friend with the electrical wiring of an old saw mill. Tracking down info I called an old man who lived in the appalachia. He had a very heavy mtn dialect and wasn’t wearing his dentures!!! Had me in stitches,sounded so funny. I had to ask him to repeat things several times. Most of you would have thought he was speaking something other than english.
