Now consider what is owed at this point. I suspect most have looked at this thread question from a "Post" SHTF assumption.

What is owed pre-SHTF. What is owed currently (today).

I know there are a very few with knowledge reference Prepping & Survival (on this forum) who hold those cards close to their chest.
I have been saying it for years, skills and practice, just cause you saw a youtube about it doesn't mean you can do it in a pinch.

Or fast beans....cooked beans that have then been dehydrated. Then they are shelf stable and just add water.
now that is interesting, and sounds like a fair bit of work. I find thinking far enough ahead to cook beans is a big enough challenge, although just an extra hour of simmer time seems to make up for overnight soaking.

What is this "owed" concept anyway? Charity begins at home, gold and silver will be pointless if there are no goods to purchase with them, but wisdom? the guy who can build water filters, liquor stills, repair vehicles or guns, reload or do even the smallest amount of medical work will be valuable friends to have in your camp.
Feed your head as you stock your food.

What do I owe another prepper ?? = Nothing..
What will I share ?? = General how to knowledge..
And like said, share knowledge now so others can ...prepare for themselves... for when needed..
Mutual safety.. ?? At what ever level that requires at the moment.. That could be a very diverse, fluid, rapidly changing ..issue.. if, when, where it occurs..

Respect.. Yes.. Everyone, everyday, everywhere.. Be respectful to all, and willing to express in NO uncertain terms that I will not tolerate being disrespected.. Like John Wayne said in an old movie. .....I don't put a hand on others and won't tolerate that on me..... Or close to that..

The Princess and I have discussed making up beans and rice packets to be distributed through a local church to stay anonymous.

We believe community is key to restoring order and thriving. Full bellies change attitudes. While other communities will be fighting each other we need people working together to tend fields etc.

I realize our plans are crazy for most preppers. But for us (quoting the Mandalorean)...

"It is the way"

Ben
