I haven't had the pic to large issue here. But have that on other site, when it comes to my desktop PC. But yet no biggie for me. I'd simply go into the photo program that came with the PC. There I learned how to make the pics smaller. I'd make it half the size it was to begin with. I'd save it, as is. Then do that a 2nd time if I need to.

Have 3 dogs, one really old for a large dog she is over 17. I have a heat lamp used for peeps on her now on the porch. And she is on a old mattress so she is off floor. The best and brightest dog we ever had and that is saying something since we had some good ones.
I'd take her on dirt road when riding my bike and it can get sandy and off balance.
So it is important fro her not to pull on lease.

One day she was determined to cross in front of me, run to other side almost making me fall over. I said 'what is wrong with you' ? I realized she was not about to let me be next to the car coming even if it meant not minding. She got between me and the strange car. Then went back and stayed on the right. Daughter was stomping on ground next to hubby setting up fence post, she didn't attack just warned her with growl and all teeth showing. She thought she might hurt hubby.
The dog is amazing. And can hardly walk but putting her down ain't gonna happen. She will die like we die, when it is her time.

Tested a photo upload in this post.

It didn't work - "The uploaded file is too large for the server to process."

The file is 110 x 123 and is 13.8KB

That doesn't make sense. I upload a picture of one of the mules we used to have without a problem and it is 3.6MB. The donkey's and the horses at the round bale are 4MB each. And all three are 3264 x 2448. Something must be wrong behind the scenes.

Pic to follow once attachments issue is resolved.

We have one dog we got from a farmer friend after he had to lock her up tight as she kept killing all the chickens. She seemed pretty nasty at first growling and such when I approached but I learned quickly it was her protective instincts. He told me "Back up and watch this" so I did. He gave her a Milk-Bones biscuit. She took it nicely out of his hand then went over to the cattle gate and climbed on sticking her head through the pipes. One of his cows (I guess best friends with the dog) came over and the dog put it right in the cows mouth and the cow ate it.

We got the dog and she immediately took to our family with 2 younger kids. She respects me and listens well but her biggest strength is how protective she is to kids, especially mine but all kids. My friend has a lot of parties and our dog is welcome. People have learned the dog will be in their face if you start grabbing or rough-housing with a kid.

She loves to hunt... well, not really hunt, she just like to catch/kill any other animal she can catch except for other dogs.

She puts on a real sad face if you go to get in a vehicle or on an ATV and she wasn't invited to come along.

How recently did you post those photos? I think the issue started an hour or 2 ago. I had no problems posting pics until that time.

Yeah, it was last night. But I'll try something now.

OK. I got the "file too large" message this time.

Sounds like something @Angie or a tech guru will have to look into.

I have one dog at the moment. Meet Fred, Blue healer and corgi cross. He goes everywhere with me, including the big truck

We have 2 Presa Canarios about 120 lbs apiece our male K'bar is very social until you give him reason not to be. Our female (Bean Sidhe) Banshee is a warrior dog spends all day looking for a fight then goes to bed and dreams of a fight. Both dogs are very gentle with children. Then there are the 3 horses Brenda, Cowboy, Snowball and the mule Ol' Chuck. I plan to build a chicken coop soon more on that when I post about life in Arkansas.

The big white girl is Molly the road dog, who is almost 9 years old. She was living in the woods by the road. The little black girl is Aninga. We got her from some folks who couldn't keep her any more. My profile pic is Peanut Butter. She has my heart and was found in a parking lot, just skin, bones and fleas!

I am on the road for 18-20 days per month for my job. When I moved to be closer to my daughter, I couldn't bring my dog with me because I would have had no one to watch him. Now he is living out his golden years with my Pops, out on the farm where I will probably live when my parents are no longer capable of caring for the place.

Here's a photo of him. He's a rescue, probably afull blooded Doberman. I'll never know for sure. He's 13 or 14 years old, fat and lazy, but also kind, gentle and about as low maintenance as a dog can be. I miss having him with me...
