I made this. Tasted really good but the pudding layer was a little runny. I would use less liquid or add some cornstarch next time

If anyone wants to make this I can translate, it's either peaches or apricots out of a can

We're eating celabratory choc chip cookies I just made. And the dog is staring me down fiercly, but he can't have chocolate.
Got the chicken bread in the oven. Got the 9 grain bread in the machine connected to the generator.
Mil called and asked how many eggs a day we're getting. She said eggs are $9 a dz where she is in California, and some stores don't have any. She asked why....
told her about the cullings, and also a few states passed laws Jan 1 that chickens can't be in cages, so there's that. West coast garbage.

You can tell her to come buy some for us, selling them for $5 a dz , well at least last market season, maybe I need to go up to $6
They are also not in cages and are outside running around the pasture

Glad I have 2 water tanks for the chickens. Put a gallon+ in the one I had in the laundryroom. Took it to the thirsty chickens and brought the frozen tank back to the house to thaw over night. Tomorrow... rinse and repeat!

Made it up to 30f but the wind cuts like a knife. No plans but indoor activities like dinner and tv.

we do that too, plus husband just takes out the water at night, they don't drink it anyway and it just freezes
I also made them some ramen noodles again today, they love those

Ours get cooked rice and expired roast beef on it. They love that.

Just came in from working outside. It's too cold on my hands to work without gloves for any length of time, 13 degs with a light wind. But I did manage to cut some boards and put them up. Also dug out the 12 foot 6×6 timber and some 2×4 and 2×6 lumber. They were all really frozen in. I'll try to get more done tomorrow.

Was so exhausted from yesterday I slept until 4pm. Still haven't budged to get up although Itsy is trying to tell me its food-o'clock now. She wants to sit closer to my face but Biscuits is up against my neck and Ginger is right below him. Neither one of them like it when I get up so they will object strenuously when I try. I need to go check on Mom and see if she needs food.

What a nice Day !!!!
I watched Inauguration almost all day

Tonight very very cold -28f

I am so tired though...sipping a glass of Shiraz

Miss Ruben is sleeping ....all cats too its quiet..for now

Dane Girl dont want to go pee before bed ..I said ..*Ok
Anyway she went earlier...but I know its because she find it too cold
she is on her mattress with his 3 warm blankets by the heater
