Will walk a little later. 24 degrees right now.
Will walk dogs, maybe.
Pick up parking lot at Church.
Can spaghetti sauce. Re-canning from #10 cans and adding bell peppers and onions.
Prepping for tomorrow- Going to hear a speaker with the Church ladies and leaving at 7 am. I have to have things ready for DH to do and have while I'm gone.

Hooray for warmth! It's 1 degree out right now, going to 21 today. Very excited about that. Plans for today....outside chores, I'll use the wagon today and not have to come in every 15 minutes, at least I think that'll happen. Planning on clearing off the dining room table...a cupboard husband wanted is still sitting there unassembled, and it's been long enough, so back in the box it goes, until he actually puts it together, new tablecloth put on. Will go into town this afternoon and run a few errands. Have been home since Monday.

It's only 16 degs this morning. It might get up to freezing today. It's kinda rare to get above freezing temps any time between late October and March. Supposed to snow tonight through Tuesday.
After breakfast I'll go out and see if I can fix the snowblower and work on the road. We got about 6 inches of fresh snow to clear off.
We're still burning the wood stove 24/7. It looks like we might have enough firewood to make it through mid March.

Almost forgot, yesterday I ordered some books. I picked out a couple on making hot sauce. Even though I make the world's best hot sauce now, I figured it wouldn't hurt to critique someone's else's. I always enjoy trying out other people's concoctions, some are actually pretty good too. It's just about time to start planting my supper hot pepper plants too. I bought enough seeds that I should have plenty of peppers to share with a few select pepper lovers.

recipe for your hot sauce? I dont really know how to make that but would like to since I use it a lot.

It's friday!! Whew hew!
The first half of yesterday wasn't flowing too good at work.
Crappy sticks kept jamming up my machine, sweeped frozen brittle lumber not traveling upon my machine right..getting caught, breaking , flying off n just tearing stuff up.
At around last break, something happened to the hog outside..a conveyor chain system that moves bark debris away from the debarker maching..something broke and the whole thing got buried from a few hours of debarking logs and it finally got to the point where it stopped moving buried under a huge pile of bark. So everyone but me n my forklift driver had to go outside and dig out the hog.
I was 17 units down ..not good as all week I was caught up mostly, but day shift buried the stacker by the time I got there and I had the same issues..crappy sticks n frozen sweepy lumber that doesn't stay on the chains nicely.
So I have 3 hours left to stack 17 units if I can.
Me n my forkie bang it out in 2 hours ! Got to go home half a hour early too. Which was good since what moisture was on the road was frozen..plus super thick frozen fog the whole way home. Fun drive..but my new trekkie sure handles it well.

Today It is sunny here n beautiful..cold out tho..everything is pretty icy. I can see the valley below me is socked in.
I need to get up n going..feed everything and enjoy my coffee as I make my weekend to do list.
Tonight Is my short night at work. After I will either catch up on news, ..maybe fire up stovie or crawl under my heated blankie n read..
Well see ..

Well yesterday’s “aliens” have flown away with their bright light and today we are socked in with fog. 🌫️ painting Hubby’s fly room (fly tying) but currently at the chiropractor. Moving is for young folks. I will probably make another run to the old house later today.
No bright light here either, lol!!

It's a beautiful sunny day here right now, except I see some clouds coming over from your direction. I guess we still need the snow.

Been working on repairing the snowblower. I got it fixed good enough to use it. I broke one of my old clamps so I threw it away and ordered a bunch of Bessey clamps. They're made in Germany and should last a lifetime. To make a permanent repair I'll need to buy some 1/4"×6"×12" flat bar to reinforce the sides. That can wait until the snow is gone.

I was very tired today, I think the cold is getting to me , plus getting up at 5 didnt help any. Need to go to bed soon and catch up
No lambs , one more really cold night
That's what I'm saying...one more really cold night. Down to 10 is all, but still cold. Tomorrow noon it turns around. It does really zap it out of you, feeling the same.

Got Hubby’s fly room painted, first coat. Stripping the hall closet door so I can sand and paint it. Stained the shelves for the second bookcase- will hopefully load it up tomorrow. Will hopefully move the rest of the big stuff from the old house tomorrow. 😬
I go back to the chiropractor again Monday so just have to make it through the weekend.
