The law of the universe is still intact. Whenever something good happens that makes you happy, something bad is sure to follow

So we got our new puppy yesterday. The one in the front. He is 9 month old and we named him Ozzy. Rosie seems to be ok with him, and he was ok with her and the goats. The goats were afraid of the new puppy even if he did nothing to them. They did the same when we first got Otto too. New dog is scary to them. But that's smart of the goats to not trust a new potential predetor.
He is super friendly to humans.

the bad thing, it was daughter's birthday yesterday, and her husband was supposed to be on a ship having duty. Well, she caught him cheating on her with someone else....wow. I guess all the other crap he told her was a lie. She went out yesterday with granddaughter and ran into them by chance. @##@!!! can't say on here what I want but you can imagine. But his day is coming. Karma does work at least most of the time if do something bad to someone.

Had the best night’s sleep I’ve had in over two weeks.

Started peppers and tomatoes yesterday. My dad’s friend (actually my gp doctor) stopped over for a visit yesterday morning. He looked at my mangled foot and told me “God wants you to slow down.” I told him it’s good practice for retirement.

Today is morning radiation appointment, some bill paying and finally getting a warp on the little loom.

Gonna try and get dad to eat some chicken chili

Sorry about your daughter's crappy husband! What a jerk! On the bright side, looks like the new dog and Rosie will be friends! Keep us posted!!

What a way to ruin your wife's birthday! So no PTSD, huh? Jerk. Our oldest daughter's first husband was military, said he was sent to travel, secret stuff, dropped her at our place for a few weeks with a two month old baby. No travel, he was with a gf. Of course, no secret mission, ha. Some people are just natural born liars.

I like your dog

natural born liars.
My ex was a pathological liar. Had to exaggerate the truth. I'm sorry your daughter has one @sonya123 !

This morning, I will walk first.
Do laundry.
Make macaroni and cheese for my little friend who was in the hospital. She is home with hospice again.
May go to auto dealership to have dash cam reattached. Glue came loose a couple of days ago. I paid enough to have it installed that I think they should fix it.

I've worked 40 hours in the past 3 days and I'm shot. I was sick as hell yesterday too. I've got to work today and tomorrow and then I get my 6 days off. The weather is supposed to be awful here tomorrow, they're talking about possibly shutting I-80 down, so I may not get home until Wednesday afternoon. Oh well. I'll be glad just to get done with this project...

him and Rosie yes, but we just caught him chasing a little goat. I think he was just playing but still, not acceptable. He got a talking to, and I put him in the barn for now.
We finally had 2 lambs this morning, so no time to deal with the puppy right now, but will later. 2 little boys , both look good, ewe is ok too. I need to eat something and have some tea before anymore work
I think I might put him in a empty pasture with Otto for a little bit, so they can play and hopefully he will get it out of his system.

Yesterday we watched a hawk try to get a chicken. The hawk hit the wire over the chicken run so it couldn't get to the chickens. Every evening about 5pm the chickens and ducks all go in to the small run where they're protected from flying predators. The hawk landed in a tree in the back yard trying to figure out how to get a chicken. Then about a dozen blue jays chased the would be chicken killer out of the area.

I thought right away when I first met him that he was just too good to be true. I was right, not that I wished to be right. He is very intelligent, good looking, healthy, in great shape, nice ( on the surface) , has no bad habits. I just knew...there are no perfect people
The sad thing is his little 2 year old daughter had to see that. If I had been there I would have smacked him....probably good thing I wasn't.
My first ex did the same thing, cheated on my with his secretary that was supposed to be my friend, and his own brother told me.

I hope the dog works out. He was perfectly behaved yesterday.

try to attract some pigeons....he will like those too , ours does

He just needs your guidance!! 😉

I can send you some...they seem to be multiplying at an alarming rate if you feed them despite the hawk getting one at least once a week or so
No thanks, that's OK. They probably wouldn't survive our winters. We have a lot of hawks and owls around here, but they usually hunt out in the open areas. They seldom come around the house.

@sonya123 hope the pup works out. He looks like he’ll be huge. Hate that about your daughter’s soon to be X husband. What a jerk.
@Tommyice you’re not overdoing it, right? Take it easy. Take a nap too.
I have a lot to do. Laundry. Tree. Plant stand then organizing the plants. Cleaning. Organizing a walk-in closet. Taxes.
Goodbye👋!

My local Army surplus dude was having a sale, so I built the foundations of another GHB
If I'd had more money, I'd have bought more MREs at 7.00 each for 2015, they were a steal!
He had a few "care package" vegan MREs for 6$, but after he told me what was in them...BLEECH!
So anyway, I bought a stainless steel cup and canteen, a nice Belgian medic bag, 2 pairs of lightly abused BDU pants, the three MREs, blew out 165$, and he threw in a Pukko knife. Now I need a reliable flashlight and water purification tabs or the straw. top it with 3 days' worth of meds and some kind of reliable, inexpensive pistol and done!

My daughter's first husband dropped her off with us (from another state) with a new baby, didn't leave her any medical cards or money or anything. Husband knew something was up when he heard "secret mission", got ahold of his CO and he was taken down to the lowest form of enlisted because of "family abadonment". About five yrs later, he wrote me a letter and apologized.

Got the new incubator warming up. I'm interested to see how it auto rotates, I've never had an auto rotator. Then I put in 30 eggs. Humid here today, and bothering husband's breathing, so I brought up two dehumidifiers from the basement. Windier than heck out.
