I prefer natural history programs.
History is cool! I'm a bit across the board on my entertainment. Has anyone seen "The Mule" with Clint Eastwood?

Over this weekend, Youtube sent me down a "Young Sheldon" rabbit hole by gradually suggesting more and more outtakes from the series...because I couldn't stop clicking on them...and I never even watched the show.

I'm starting to think I missed out on a good TV series. I really thought it would be a lame TV show when it was released, so I never made an effort to watch it. But, I have to say, it looks pretty well done, with a lot of well developed characters handling ordinary family issues in funny ways. I may have to figure out where it is streamed.

We usually watch the world go by out the front window. It’s already dark by the time we sit down in the evening so remember way back when when tv wasn’t 24 hours. Sometime about 10pm it was done and the screen went blank - yeah that’s what we’re watching.

I have been watching the series as well. I just started a couple weeks ago. I watch an episode here and there.

It is related to Big Bang Theory, adult Sheldon. I have watched much of that.

The new season of Reacher is now on Amazon Prime. I loved the first season, and I am a huge fan of all the books. There are three new episodes. I believe the first season had eight episodes. Looks like this season will be just as good as the first.

So last night I saw an old series that I loved as a kid... The Rat Patrol... So I turned it on... First thing I noticed was that the bogies on the "German" tanks and half were all wrong, then the half tracks, same problems with miss matched details. The more I watched the more distasteful it became, finally when the "Germans" were firing back using a Browning 50, I just couldn't watch anymore.

I guess when you are a kid and the scenery is very familiar to you its a cool series, but when you are older and you have been to museums and seen the real things the details just bug you to death. Sometimes knowing too much can ruin the fun of things...

I am that way with Westerns. When you know the true history you are saying to yourself "That's not what happened." The one the comes to mind is the old John Wayne movie The Searchers. Loved it as a kid. Watched it as an adult and thought "When did the Texas Rangers go to Utah?" Very disappointing. I feel your pain.

I found this quite enjoyable. I like classical music but I also like what this guy did with a mashup.

Did I detect a hint of "Didn't we meet" by Alice Cooper and a few strains of "Sympathy for the Devil" by the stones in the BGM?

I've been seeing a promo for a reality show on the discovery channel. big little brawlers. A show about midget wrestlers on the discover channel, really? They must be scraping the bottom of the barrel for ratings...

Not much worth watching this time of year aside from bowl games. Plenty of those coming, one tomorrow, one friday then 7 on saturday.

My daughter has always been a fan of wrestling. I have no idea why! One time I was upstairs doing laundry and the phone rang. It was her dad calling. She may have been 7 or 8 at the time. Daughter says, "Dad, don't tell Mom, but I'm watching All-Star Wrestling and she doesn't let me to watch it." Dad responds, "If I was there, I wouldn't let you to watch it either." Lol! I guess he and I agreed on something!

My hometown has a big weekend once a year, and every 5 years it includes an all school reunion. There are always lots of things to do: rodeos, runs, demolition derbies, barbecue cook-offs, car shows, parades, dances, art shows, music performances, performances of all kinds and more. One year they had midget wrestling. Daughter was grown-up and bought tickets for us to go. It was actually pretty funny and entertaining, but kind of like a freak show in many ways, something that makes me uncomfortable. She loved it! Later at my class reunion, someone asked, "Did ANYONE go to midget wresting?" I sheepishly raised my hand.

I didn't like tv wrestling as a kid. Still don't, not my cup of tea. I'll watch ncaa wrestling, actually like just about all the olympic and college sports, there's a few i skip. i really like boxing though, but don't see it much anymore.

Happened to see the tour de france bicycle race one summer, wasn't feeling well and was stuck in front of the tv. Anyway, i'm a fan now. Guess my favorite is college football. I get a little burned out on it this time of year, but heck, i'm watching a replay of a bama game now! 😁 Have to enjoy the feast before the off season.
