We have them too. Wow would leave his mom and really made the comment she is not fit. Me, I'd take mom and leave his fat ass home. Also, he needs to take a sword course from Roninsensei. lol..yup, we have them too. Again, why I told that nice lady that media always finds the wack jobs.

This is exactly what these TV shows are looking for, they don't want common sense type folks thus looking sane isn't on the agenda then add he stated he would use the weapons against people now I'm sure that would go over nicely with the Authorities in the Land of OZ... More restrictions coming to our Brothers down under *sigh

it's difficult to find preppers here, but connecting with someone like that aussie dude would be a disaster.

unless you plan to "feed him to the wolves" in shtf..and thus saving your self

@Aus-Prep Wow, this guys off tap.
Who throws their own mum under a bus.
This guy don't even use the proper finger grip on a bow, One over one under ummmmm three fingers fool.
Starts shooting arrows in the direction of his cat....
Makes a flimsy ass halberd, from a broomstick and two machetes, Classy..... Lucky this guy didn't get a invite to the manhattan project, his weapon making skills are pretty questionable.
Says he's a security guard, I find that hard to believe, i'm a security guard, this bloke doesn't seem mentally stable enough to be a security guard. Consumer and Business Service must have been hanging to go home on the day he walked in.

Your right though this bloke is why us Aussies have such a hard time prepping.

This guy is the very reason why we Aussie preppers are labeled the way we are.

LOL, wow. People like this are the primary reason why I in no way shape or form consider myself a prepper. This is why labels and generalizations are dangerous.

There are even a couple members of this forum whom clearly could be considered mentally disturbed. I don't want to be lumped into the same category as people like this.

Just because I take interest in something does not mean it defines who I am as a person.

He has spent 10K in 3 years on prepping while living with his mom. She should give him the boot..after all, that's what he says he would do to her if the SHTF. Looks like it is all weapons type of stuff too. He doesn't seem very balanced.... does he? Kind of sad that he thinks this way and he is only 20 years old.

I think he has spent to much time watching TV,,,,,,,,you can't let the idea that if the SHTF that it will be a constant battle of self defense,,,,,your biggest enemy's will be being alone, food water and shelter

Some of the best and original bushcraft books come from Australia, when I was a youngster some of my favorite authors were Richard Graves (bushcraft series) and H A Lindsay (bushman) I really don't understand the younger generation, than again I'm sure they don't understand me :(

My teaching tools were one on one hands on learning and by books from the folks that lived it such as the ones listed above not from this make believe world of T.V./youtube/internet, maybe I am a dinosaur :-/

Greatest ever sheep moles....... erm Aussie expert has to be the brilliant Maj (ret) Les Hiddins better known as the Bush tucker man... So good he is respected by the SAS as one of the best.

Bear Grylls and Ray Mears rate him among the very best.
