I thought you were a bird watcher!!

Not really. I enjoy watching the birds at the feeders or in the fountain in the yard, but I couldn't name any but the obvious. I would be much more interested in watching for birdies on the Golf course.

Ok, I downloaded 3 bird ID apps, they all said Spotted Towhee!! They are up that far north in the summer! All three apps have been uninstalled!!

Mystery solved. Thanks! I just never seen that bird around here before or since.

It's just the name of an animal.
I'm flabbergasted that just the picture and name of an animal causes such controversy.

A meerkat (Suricata suricatta) is a small mammal that lives in the Kalahari Desert in southern Africa. Despite its common name, it is more closely related to the mongoose family than to cats. A group of meerkats is called a "mob" or "gang," and usually all of the meerkats are relatives.
