I'm not sure if Putin wants to send the first nuke. History would not like him very much if he did, even if it was a little one. And then if Ukraine was his, he would of totally ruined the "breadbasket of Europe" for farming use. He could send a chemical on that ICBM and that would really tick NATO off and start it up.
What he did sounds like *** for tat to me.
Yes i agree...i think this was a show that their ICBM do work and they can use them and will...plus it was a test for them to practice a bit as well.

We flew two different types of long range items into russia...attacms and storm shadow.....so they showed a true long range at work.

Update(1057ET): Ukraine's earlier claim that its territory had been struck by an intercontinental ballistic missile fired by Russia is being hotly disputed, hours after widespread reports first appeared. US officials are saying it appears to be a new intermediate-range ballistic missile and not an ICBM which targeted the central city of Dnipro

The NY Times has reported in follow-up of the attack that "several Western officials said that the weapon was not an ICBM and instead was likely an intermediate-range missile that flies shorter distances."

Zelensky himself had claimed Russia used a new class of missile. "All the parameters — speed, altitude — match those of an intercontinental ballistic missile," he said. "All expert evaluations are underway." But US defense officials are contradicting this:

A senior U.S. official said the weapon appeared to be an intermediate-range ballistic missile, adding, "But it is a new type we have been tracking."
US officials have also called it an "experimental" missile. There's also been some quibbling among experts are how to characterize the projectiles which were observed hitting Ukraine at incredibly high rates of speed, in terms of rocket size and distance.

Assuming Washington is correct, and that it wasn't an ICBM, this suggests Zelensky's hasty verdict is all about threat inflation coming at a time he's desperately trying to get the West's attention, arguing in favor of greater NATO military intervention against Russia.

People tend to underestimate Russian technology. It's every bit as good as ours.

Weeeell.. Even if that's Debatable (certainly for Some Tech / Weapons systems it Is..) ..It's Still Wise to prepare / proceed as though That's 100% True, and across the board. It would be Foolish to assume Otherwise..

I saw a Youtube video about a top of the line Russian fighter that crashed. Not only did it fail but it showed it used components from the US.

Russia is going to start WWIII if someone doesn't take out their leadership. There are a half dozen mad men holding 8 BILLION of us hostage. How much longer will the People of Earth tolerate this? You'd think their wives would slit their throats while they were sleeping.

Pretty interesting video...

Agreed, but, re: it being an "ICBM".. 🤔 Hmm.. My only wonder is.. (and, PS - I'm betting they would use an 'IRBM', not an ICBM, don't know Why they would 'waste' one of Those, since Both can carry / deploy 'MIRV's.. but..) I didn't think MIRVs (those 'bomblets') were usually 'visible' / streaking flame, or even 'sparks' like that.. That's part of the whole Idea of 'em, IIRC.. Snip from Wiki:

"..Once [an ICBM / IRBM's] booster falls away, the remaining "bus" releases several warheads, each of which continues on its own unpowered ballistic trajectory, much like an artillery shell or cannonball. The warhead is encased in a cone-shaped reentry vehicle and is difficult to detect in this phase of flight as there is no rocket exhaust or other emissions to mark its position to defenders. The high speeds of the warheads make them difficult to intercept and allow for little warning..."

..Thus, these - to Me - look more like, perhaps, a 'Cluster-Incendiary-type Bomb', with perhaps Larger than Normal payloads - but certainly not as big as they Could be (ie: These 'impacts' / explosions didn't Look very large / like what you'd expect to see MIRVs used for / delivering.. I'd expect to see HUGE, highly-concussive explosions, w/ pronounced shockwaves (like JDAMs / others produce) with True MIRVs, even If 'non-nuclear'. Additionally, the Trajectories don't Look consistent with ICBM MIRVs, ie:

1920px-Peacekeeper-missile-testing.jpg

..(and yah, Those 'have streaks', but this was a Test-Shot - Those might have been intentionally-added 'tracers' for the purposes of This 'Demo Photo', etc.. )

So... I dunno.. Unless / until corrected, I'm going with some sort of IRBM-Cluster Bomb-dealeo.. Ergo: Yet Another Putin 'Bluff'.. 🤬 Not saying he will Never 'totally Lose it' / Use Nukes, etc, but.. I'm.. dubious this Was an "ICBM"..

It was the velocity and verticality of them that I found striking. Wether or not they where ICBMs or IRBMs is just quibbling. The point is they are projectiles dropping from a sub-orbital trajectory.

The streaks are presumably from their ablative heat shields burning at high velocity. Essentially, they were man made meteorites.

Their payloads actually appeared small, which is logical. The missile system is designed for nuclear payloads, putting conventional explosives in those same housing wouldn't make very impressive bombs.

The point of using them was not really to deliver payload, they have much more efficient ways to do that with conventional weapons.

The point is to make us imagine if the payloads were nuclear.

Agreed, but again.. If it were an "ICBM", I'd expect to see a Much wider targeting-radius, Even If...

Sure - makes sense, but.. Again, IF this was to 'Proof of 'We Can Nuke the Ukes / EU if we Want' Concept' to the Ukes / World, well.. That'd be an awful waste to 'Demo the Impact many Nukes in Such a small-spot'.. (unless they Did that 'for the Selfie of it all' ;)

Even the Shot, above (of an Actual ICBM / MIRV-shot) would be a far more devastating 'demo' Overall.. Sure - that area (in the Vids) would be Super-Toast, but.. Again, it just seems a wasted 'flex', IMO..

Thought of the same, but.. Even If that were the case - I'd not expect to See such pronounced 'fire-streaks' All the way to Impact.. We don't, even with "Large" meteorites (...well, OK, I'm sure the 'Wolf Meteorite', et al, prolly did.. ;) But I mean even "comparatively large" - like the 'Dramatic ones' we've seen in footage From Russia, in the not-too-distant past - the ones that blew out windows, etc - even Those weren't 'streaks All the way down'..

Of course, to Any it / they 'UnAlived', well.. All of this is a 'Thoroughly Moot point', I guess. o_O

They didn't make it down, they blew up in the air, lacking heat shields, aerodynamics, etc.

No doubt they would be if they had nuclear warheads, but they didn't so it would be rather wasted to drop a small bomb on a bunch of targets ten miles apart.

Agreed. Luckily the Russians are dumb.

the streaking in the black and white was like when Thor and others traveled in the movies....well thats what it reminded me off.

or some marvel movie...i forget which one i am thinking of.

the big question is does Putin think he can win against the US. He obviously can't come over here and take over , that's just not going ot happen. So , the only thing he can do that will do anything against the US directly is nukes. If he nukes the US , the US will nuke back and that's it , game over. We mostly all die or live out short miserable lives till radiation kills us. He knows that, the US knows that. So the most likely thing he might do it attack some base in Europe to see how far he can go. If he really wanted WW3, he could just destroy Kiev, but he hasn't . You have to ask yourself why. My guess is he really does not want ww3. The one wanting it is Biden and the liberals here. They would rather see everything destroyed than Trump becoming president again. That's my guess on all that
the next month is going to be scary for sure

--- Here is Putin's speach . Pay attention to this . He says he will warn civilians to give them time to evacuate target areas before his missiles hit them . Already we are seeing panick settling in for some people . Emagine what it will be like when he gives a incoming strike warning , Traffic jams and panic for those in the target area , the non-believers will continue proclaiming , he ain't really going to do that and continue down the road to order their happy meal .

From long experience overseas , I am cautios about labeling any adversary Dumb , different yes but Dumb no. Look at DC , London , Paris etc. for instituitional Stupidity

Aye, but really, it's the Entirety of the NWO-cartel, and ALL their dark underbelly / flying monkeys embedded in / marionetting .govs / DSM (MSM) and Corp-orgs the world over.. ie: This is how they 'see Themselves ruling over All'...

..Basically 'SPECTRE in a Sheep costume', but.. Personally, I think the reality is a Lot more insidious.. and Far more Darkside.. The 'High-Level' Billionaires (near Trillionaires) and the Trillionaire Families are Freaks and Sickos (ie: the 'systemically incestuous' Rothchilds, et al..) and they really Do 'run' everything, but..

Soon, they - along with All Totalitarian-minded despots / 'dictators', et al - Will be Worm Food.. and Sorry, but.. We Ain't Eatin Worms n Crickets, just because You all claim / crowbar '..B-But muh Planet!' 🤬off!
