More than likely. my mum spotted a watch in an antique shop many years ago, it was for sale for £2.50 $3 as a not working dress watch just considered as costume jewellry. My mum told the shop that she thought it was valuable and they should get it checked. Following week she went back and it was still for sale for £2.50 $3 so she bought it and took it to a jewellers only 50 yards away. He offered her £1000 cash instantly for it.
