Many / most can not even face the growing war and it directly coming to them in the form of missiles , bombs or invading ground troops . Denying is not the same thing as prepping . I find myself posting more broad and generic on forums such as this , or not responding at all , in an effort to not dash someone's hope of surviving the approaching SHTF . It is getting closer every day and some are only beginning to realize the seriousness . --- Only minor prepping endeavors remain open for some , such as going to a store and buying up extra food . That self-reliant homestead " if they haven't already established one " , for most that window has already closed .
There are so many options out there of what tragedies can or likely will happen, it's hard to decipher which one will come first (in what order) and when. I was hoping to secure a BOL but that's not gonna happen at this point and not sure it would matter anyway.

My focus is not whom wins which war . My focus is on prepping and the survival of my group . We plan to simply hunker down , close out the outside world and survive . When an army approaches our premises , that is when we will engage in combat . My government can try to conscript / draft if they want to , but we will resist and not comply to be put into a combat situation to make corrupt politicians richer . We raise real men and women here , and serving in the military side by side with homos ain't likely going to happen .
If you and your group are operating in the mountains, you have a good chance, but not in the lowlands if there is a nuclear strike.

We are in a mountainous type region with many caves and terrain ideal for escape and evasion . We are also a long ways from any military target worth even an conventional bomb , certainly not worth a Nuke . Our biggest threat would be possible Nuclear fallout that could descend from a high altitude cloud , that might float in from a distant Nuclear blast . That however does not mean we would survive , but as preppers plan to give survival a 100% effort . We prep to survive even a Nuclear assault . There is simply no guarantee of success . --- One of the better caves close by at my last account , had a mountain lion living in it . First order of business I suppose would be to dispatch the mountain lion .
Know that they target those in rural areas as well, and likely are making it a priority of theirs. All are on the radar, possibly Moreso in the rural self sustaining areas. Buckle up, hunker down, be ready, wherever you are. Don't assume, being "rural" makes you immune or "out of reach" of their grasps. At least as a target.

What some call rural is a lot different than what others call rural , especially when comparing rural from one country to rural in another . As for my location , the enemy would have to be wanting to focus on my survival group only , as there isn't much else around to include in a strike . --- That though doesn't mean they wouldn't want to take us out that bad .
