I have never had a goat get sick cross bred , Spanish x Nubian x Alpine. im not too concerned but asking for advice. @sonya123 will know!! My experience is with Angora goats. If the runny nose is not yellow or green and it's acting ok otherwise, it's probably not a concern. I personally would watch for it coughing or acting lethargic. Non persistent cough may be ok! Just keep a good eye on it!!

Could it be an allergy to something? Have you taken its temperature? animals get allergies too.

check her temperature , if it is around 103, she is fine. If it is high like 105 she probably has pneumonia and needs some antibiotic right away but usually they act really sick when they get that and it doesn't happen often. I think I might have had 2 goats that got it. Sheep more often so I vaccinate them
If it is low like 101, that's bad too.
Our animals get snot noses too and usually it's nothing
Oh, and I wouldn't feed a baby goat alfalfa. It can actually hurt the males , too much calcium or something
Hay is better . Too much grain is bad too. For a 1 year old I usually only feed about a handfull or so, unless it's a milk goat
And I never feed medicated anything. I personally think that's a bad idea. ( no wait I take that back, we feed medicated chick starter if we buy chicks)

did you check her temperature? Do you know how to do that? LOL just stick it in her butt, but not too far and have someone else hold her so she doesn't move
regular human thermometer you can get at walmart for a few $ ( or used to , now they are probably $50....)

i dont feed much medicated feed either and its mixed with The Alf pellets and a All stock sweet feed. when this is gone i wont get any more. Another question is the copper in minerals too much is Toxic too sheep but i read thats its not has bad with hair sheep compared to wool. Do you seperate your flocks or just free range them all togeher with the goat mineral?

Sheep and goats need limited copper! So if you are feeding good hay, a goat/sheep mineral block supplies what they need! Please get @sonya123 's opinion. That's just my opinion! I guess these are more than opinions!😉
