2017 was a great year. My family is healthy and doing well and the stock market hit over 70 record highs. But the best thing about 2017 is Hillary didn't get elected and obumer is just a fading memory.

2017 was good to me (except my dog died). I work my butt off getting the grounds ready for the wedding and it went off without a hitch.

It was a good year and I am happy.

My husband is still an asset, but that' been every year.

Note that there is an unwritten law that husbands stick together. Prayer & patience. We all through our ups & downs. My wife & I have a spoken agreement: till death do we part. One of us may be found guilty, but no divorce. Period. It's a commitment for us for a lifetime. We can be miserable or work through the problems., we spend time in both modes. I see the issue. He's not an *ss. He just needs his *ss kicked so hard he unbuttons his collar to use the bathroom.

Very simply, he does not respect you. I'm not speaking badly of you, let me explain. He does not fear you. Truth. If I did that, I have zero expectations of being alive within 24 hours. Seriously, no joke. I would not only leave the house, but the town, county and likely the state. I would create my own witness protection program and disappear. The first bullet would go through my stupid-brain below, and I would be left for a few hours to think about that before the 2nd bullet went through my non-functioning upper brain. As I said, we have a 'till death do us part' mentality and it can happen two ways.

Typically the first step is that some men in the family take him outside and have a real men-to-man talk. Not violent, but clearly explaining that any further mistakes will have grave consequences. Actually for many it would be a 1-strike policy. Second time? Scars that he would see/feel/suffer for the rest of his life. And a mob-like warning that strike 3 equals cement water-skiing shoes.

An example, a friend cheated on his wife over a decade ago. He's slept in the guest bedroom every night since then. They are still married, but he gave up that privilege permanently. Respect and fear keep many men from getting stupid. I'm so sorry you are living with this.

Oh, if it was just me his assistant would have been gone years ago. I kicked him out, but we have a special needs son and the trauma was hurting him.

I have always put my kids first, therefore; I chose my son's happiness over my pain and dislike for him.

Trust me, he was afraid when I purchased a 9mm and 22.

I believe he has been "nicer" since then.

I agree he does not respect me. He also is very jealous of me and my relationship with the kids.

I have found that the greatest revenge on someone, especially an ego centric like him, is to totally ignore him. That has hurt him worst of all.

Therefore; his punishment is ongoing which to me is more satisfactory than a quickie over and done. Muahahahaha. Oh, we have had separate rooms forever and I am looking good too. my daughter said he should had at least upgraded. His women looked and are skanky ass whores. Literally

One thing for certain. He is not and never will be a prepper. He would quickly learn that if SHTF, he'd be first on the list to get taken out! So if he did realize things will fall apart one day, he'd be high-tailing it away from mama!

A true story. A lady I knew had a horrible Ex. She didn't realize how, but he would get her ebay/paypal/facebook passwords & cause pain. Not enough to really get the police interested, but enough to make her suffer. Went on for a couple of years. She told me about it, & I pointed out that he probably put a keystroke virus on her computer. Everything she typed, he got it. So she could change her password 5 times, & he immediately had it. She'd get weirdo emails. She' get useless items she'd "bought". Just harassment.

I gave her some advice. She could change her passwords using copy/paste, or change them on another computer (even better, but then can't log in with her computer). BUT first, type in the following:
google.com
how to kill your ex husband (multiple clicks from here)
how to hide a body (multiple clicks from here)
how to make a car bomb (clicks...)
destroying dental records teeth (clicks...)
how to buy a street gun (clicks...)
maps.google.com
(his address)

Do that for a few weeks, ONLY do these sorts of searches for weeks. You can imagine the directions these searches can go. Also send an email to places, ask about weapons training, etc. Don't give him one hint that you know about his keystroke virus.

I'm not going to tell the rest of the story, I'll leave that to everyone's imagination. But Robin, you are right, vengance is an ugly creature. Just don't let it turn your heart evil.

Now that's funny, but not for me. I'm happy right where I am. I have my gardens and chickens and kids. He does the working and grocery shopping.

I'm good. Got over the hurt and anger years ago. Now I just live as I like

I have no complaints for the last year. Put in a lot of hard work on the business but it has paid off. The kids are closer to being able to move into the house we are building for them, and my wife hasn’t gotten worse health wise. Hope for the same next year.

I have seen your posts about your wife's health. All of last year i was on an extended release main medicine but their $25 only lasts one year and the meds cost $$$$$ .

I have been off for 3 day and man I can tell the difference. I wake up now and am in so much pain and stiffness that it takes me about an hour to get going.

This med is kind of a "you don' miss it till it's gone" type. It is manufactured so you can' abuse it by shooting it or snorting, etc. I can really tell a difference by not having it in my body 24 hours. Oh well, I have to do what the insurance pays for.

She may want to check into it. If you have Bc/BS don't bother

It's ridiculous. No place ever has enough in stock to fill the script, so I can never fill it. Just because some idiots like to get high, my wife has to suffer more pain each day. Lovely.

I’m sorry to hear you’re in chronic pain as well. If you can get a used hot tub I’ve found it helps get me moving better than anything else I’ve tried. I just don’t like drugs and rarely even take aspirin. Being in pain sucks, there’s no better way to describe it. I’ve been lucky to be pretty much pain free most of my life, but have seen my wife suffer for too long. As far as insurance companies go, they are all greedy and evil as far as I’m concerned. I see the commercials where they say they care about your health and want to puke.... their bottom line is all they care about.

We have a hot tub, but I never use it. I take lots of hot baths though.

As for insurance companies, they also spend billions of dollars on research so I'm not going to complain much.

Tylenol is one of the most dangerous drugs on the market. Kills the liver expecially if you drink.

Lol! A pole is this damned things auto correct for Apple.... I will see if my son can tell me how to turn it off on his Samsung. I’m not familiar with them but will probably get one when my iPhone dies.
