I would have another dog tomorrow if we could find the right one, our terrier bitch died 4 years ago literally in my arms, but have been unable to find a replacement, rescue centres give us the run around and breeders are asking a fortune, dont want a puppy, maybe an older dog.

We should be getting the Red Bone Coon Hound soon. I really dont want another dog, especially a puppy. She's free and a gift to my son so I have to do it.

I’ve considered when to stop getting a dog too. It’s sad when one passes but at least we understand what happened. It’s really sad to think that the dog may just wonder why you left them. I’ve decided to just adopt an older dog when I’m at that point and we can get older together. One of my three was on his last day at the shelter. I guess adopting one to save its life is always better than the alternative.

I saw the Red Bone Coon Hound today, and he was just getting ready to leave the dog park, so it was a quick photo. His name is Cash (sp?) and he was one year old today. He is such a beauty. I asked the owner if he was getting any steak for his birthday and he told me no, he was going to get a dog ice cream cone.

Lab/pyrenees mix and an Australia Shepherd/Jack Russell mix. The later is a horrible dog. She is getting so mean.

I am a dog lover. I had a childhood dog, Jack, a cocker-spaniel mix: Solar, an 85% wolf hybrid: Polar, a Giant Malamute. Now I have Ayala, an Australian Shepherd and Star a Canadian Eskimo Dog. Maybe my wife can post some pictures here but it is beyond my cyber ability to do so.
