perhaps mad-Vlad would do the honors and leave his neighbors in peace, respect the borders and not sending his "green men" over the borders to f*** up everything...then again it only proves how utterly unreliable russia is...

We refer to the US government not to US Citizens.
Is it not hypocritical to be fighting for your own rights against your own government and then telling us we are wrong in our perceptions?
It is your government that 性交s things up. not your people. You assign blame per administration, yet every administration you find yourselves having to continue your fight for your rights.
Each administration there for are two sides of the same coin, they are facades for the same people who truly decide your policies as well as ours.

World Police? Are you kidding me? Have you not looked at your news? You've got the most abusive police force in the western world!
You even indicate your displeasure with your militarized police enforcing laws that violate your constitutional rights!
How can your statement, of america being the worlds police force then still be seen in a positive light?

It is the indavidual that you choose to defend that brougt up the U.S citizen and U.S public . You are not reading the post .
I will tell you as I told him you only know what you hear from the media . You listen to the Red diaper wearing whinney babies and have a corupted view of the U.S way of life and U.S involvment in World afaires . You have absolutly no knowlage of the Police in the U.S .
There is noway you can make a ligitamate comment on Americans or our policy .
You cannot understand the Freadom we have and what it takes to keep such freadom . With that freadom comes alot of responsibility and that is also something Im sure you cant understand . For you to make such ignorant comments about the U.S.A shows alot about your character .

besides, weather we here in Europe like it not,we kinda need the US against mad-Vlad,we have been down seizing the armed forces for so long, stupidly believing there would be peace for all eternity...until that maniac mad-Vlad came and changed the whole play ground,so a common EU army??? not gonna happen, lead by whom???
for me here in Finland, the way it goes,I'd trust the US,they haven't tried to annihilate us,russkies have..time after time,so should I trust them?? don't think so...

It seems that US is also getting ready for Marschal Law with their militairy training starting next month inside US?
Are they ready to take the arms from the people or start a civil war ?
It will be about the same time when the Ukraine starts heating up again with the new US supplied weapons to kill of the rest of the people in eastern Ukraine, wonder what Vlad will do this time?

and you care about the Ukrainians?? propably only of those living under mad-Vlad rule...:rolleyes:latest from Crimea, their economy under russkie rule is very close to a 3-world bankrupt African nation,it must be glorious to live there..after the "free and unpartial" vote...

latest; government troops killed by russkie backed separatists on Sunday...that's how they honor the cease-fire...

funny .. I humbly apologize and say I am sorry for expressing my personal opinions, experiences and believes on a primarily american dominated forum,
I'm sorry for doing so, because if there is something that Americans supposedly stand for its, freedom. incl. freedom of speech.

And the very fact that I feel like apologizing for having an opinion at all about something that is rather close to home for me, which naturally gives me a right to claim that I too have some personal insight on how a matter effects me and mine and my European Union participating country, is the very proof that I am under fire for expressing my opinions which are different from yours. It also shows that people who supposedly stand for freedom, do not recognize the freedom of speech from others who do not share their opinion. Because your very comments are written in ways as to insult my judgement for supposedly non american sources I use. It does not matter that I use american sources as a foundation to my facts too. It's the very fact that my opinion is different from yours that causes you to write ill conceived slander of a portion of my sources, in an attempt to there by insult and discredit me. Which is a form of censorship. You see, if you came with valid arguments and provided facts as to why I was mistaken, then it would be a normal way to express your opinions and discuss them without attempting to indirectly censor mine.

And @jontte you do realize that your "latest" is not latest at all, and that transgressions are made daily on both sides and thus just posting one for one side can appear to be bias towards one side?
Assuming that you are bias towards one side, may I ask why you support that side and not condemn the violence and transgressions committed by both sides?

You are not being censored or insulted , no need to play the victim card . You look at your post . You have talking points from left wing bloggers and the liberal madia and posting it as facts . You are either mislead or are promoting misinformation you should expect to be challenged .
I dont care where your sorces are from when you go to bashing the U.S and saying our Police force is the most opressive in the World you are just promoting leftist propaganda put out by socialist scum .
And I say agin either you are misinformed or you are promoting a ideaology designed to mislead others .

Here some more facts about Nato and allies;

NATO GETTING READY FOR WAR
ECB's New Bankbuilding
The original price of the bank’s enormous palace was supposed to be 500 million euros, about 550 million dollars, but the bill has now been admitted as €1.3 billion (£930 m; $1.4 bn). This absurdly over-expensive fiasco was directed by the people who are supposed to steer the financial courses of 18 nations and their half billion unfortunate citizens. If the ECB displays similar skill sets in looking after Europe’s money as it has in controlling the cost of constructing its huge twin-tower headquarters, then Europe is in for a rocky time. Not much is working well in either Libya or Afghanistan two years after the Daalder-Stavridis advocacy of “burden sharing” and it is obvious that NATO has been the opposite of a “source of stability” in both unfortunate countries.
In October 2005 Iwrote that“NATO is to increase its troop numbers in Afghanistan to 15,000 and its secretary-general states that instead of acting as a peacekeeping force it will assume the combat role of US troops, which is insane . . .The insurgency in Afghanistan will continue until foreign troops leave, whenever that might be. After a while, the government in Kabul will collapse and there will be anarchy until a brutal, ruthless, drug-rich warlord achieves power. He will rule the country as it has always been ruled by Afghans: by threats, religious ferocity, deceit, bribery, and outright savagery when the latter can be practiced without retribution. And the latest foreign occupation will become just another memory.”
The number of US-NATO troops in Afghanistan has been reduced from a high of 130,000 to 13,000, of which some 10,000 are US
Germany’s Der Spiegel reported in January that the scandal of the cost overrun was being kept secret by all governments contributing to this redundant organization. A leaked cable from Germany’s ambassador explained that at a meeting of NATO representatives last December they “pointed to the disastrous effect on the image of the alliance if construction were to stop and if NATO appeared to be incapable of punctually completing a construction project that was decided at the NATO summit of government leaders in April 1999 in Washington. The risk of a further cost increase is already palpable.”

The solution to NATO’s self-imposed image problem was simple : the people responsible for managing the affairs of a military alliance involving 28 countries, 3.5 million combatants and 5,000 nuclear weapons decided, as asked by the staff of its Secretary General, to deal with the matter “confidentially.” In other words, the cost overruns and delays in construction are being deliberately concealed from the public in the hope that NATO’s executives will not appear incompetent.
Intriguingly, the Bank isn’t alone in contributing to Europe’s bureaucratic building boom. There is another Europe-based organization of equal ambition, pomposity and incompetence which is building a majestically expensive and luxurious headquarters with a mammoth cost overrun about which it is keeping very quiet indeed.

The perpetrator of this embarrassing farce is NATO, the US-Canada-European North Atlantic Treaty Organization which is limping out of Afghanistan licking its wounds, having been fighting a bunch of sandal-wearing rag-clad amateur irregulars who gave the hi-tech forces of the West a very hard time in a war whose outcome was predictable. But the debacle hasn’t dimmed the vision of the zealous leaders of NATO who are confronting Russia in order to justify the existence of their creaking, leaking, defeated dinosaur. Their problem is not only do they lose wars, but they then look for another one to fight — to be directed from a glittery new and vastly expensive building whose cost has soared above all estimates.

Just like NATO’s wars.

NATO’s operation "Unified Protector" to overthrow Libyan leader Muammar Gadhafi involved a massive aerial blitz of 9,658 airstrikes which ended with the gruesome murder of Gadhafi — and caused collapse of Libya into an omnishambles where fanatics of the barbarous Islamic State are now establishing themselves.
In spite of the horror of NATO’s Libyan catastrophe one does have to have a quiet smile about Ivo H. Daalder and James G Stavridis whose deeply researchedanalysisin the journal Foreign Affairs in 2012 was titled "NATO’s Victory in Libya." These sages declared that “NATO’s operation in Libya has rightly been hailed as a model intervention . . . NATO’s involvement in Libya demonstrated that the alliance remains an essential source of stability .

The number of US-NATO troops in Afghanistan has been reduced from a high of 130,000 to 13,000, of which some 10,000 are US, but NATO’s new headquarters building in Brussels is expanding in both size and cost. The budget for the immense complex was approved at 460 million Euros (500 million US dollars) in 2010 but has now surged to over 1.25 billion Euros, about 1.4 billion dollars.

Germany’s Der Spiegelreportedin January that the scandal of the cost overrun was being kept secret by all governments contributing to this redundant organization. As reported in the UK’s Daily Telegraph on March 4, the commander of US troops in Europe, General Frederick “Ben” Hodges, has accused Russia of having 12,000 troops inside eastern Ukraine, which was irresponsible nonsense.

Other pronouncements by NATO leaders have been equally threatening and intended to convince the public of western Europe that Russia attacked Ukraine !!

But even if Russia had indeed invaded Ukraine, it would have had nothing whatever to do with anyone else.

NATO should have been disbanded at the time of the collapse of the Soviet Union because that threat was the sole reason for its existence; but it decided to multiply membership and extend its military presence closer and closer to Russia’s borders. There is little wonder that Russia is apprehensive about NATO’s intentions, as the muscle-flexing coalition lurches towards conflict.

NATO’S Supreme Commander, US General Breedlove, has also contributed greatly to tension and fear in Europe by issuing dire warnings about Russia’s supposed maneuvers.

The swell of anti-Russian propaganda, confrontation and attempted intimidation by NATO has increased, and if it continues to do so it is likely that Moscow will take action, thereby upping the stakes and the danger even more. It is time that NATO’s nations came to terms with the reality that Russia is a major international power with legitimate interests in its own region. Moscow is not going to bow the knee in the face of immature threats by sabre-rattling US generals and their swaggering acolytes. It is time for NATO to forge ties rather than destroy them — and to build bridges rather than glitzy office blocks

I think some people should think about this a little more?? Caveman Joe

I agree, though I'd really appreciate it if the US leaves Europe out of this one. IF they want Russia so bad, then they should fight it out on their own soil, not on ours.

Hmm, it's the UK, France, Norway and Sweden jets intercepting russian jets not US flagged jets, also, Norway, Poland, Estonia, Latvia, Lithuania just to name a few ask for a little help in taking up some slack, the US didn't invade the Ukraine or annexed Crimea that upset several near by countries and several are part of NATO to name some here.

Here a few items of US internal affairs;

How America Was Lost: From 9/11 to the Police/Warfare State

Even as the view of America as a rogue state consolidates abroad,Americans appear largely bystanders at the spectacle of their government running amok. People forget the myriad instances of their government's flouting of the Constitution and international legal norms– if ever they were aware of them in the first place–accepting to live in the increasingly pernicious "new normal" with little protest. This remarkable anthology of columns documents and reminds us of the extraordinary developments that, in their accumulation, have led to the destruction of accountable and moral government in the US
Few American commentators have cut more clearly through the deepening deceit, hypocrisy and outright criminality that has infested official Washington since 9/11 than Paul Craig Roberts. His scathing critique sheds much-needed light on the country’s impending nightmare—economic collapse, internal repression, ongoing wars, and rising rejection by friends and foes alike. America’s fate was sealed when the public and the anti-war movement bought the government’s 9/11 conspiracy theory. This defining event of our time, which has launched the US on interminable wars of aggression and a domestic police state, is a taboo topic for investigation in the media. Trillion dollar wars have created financing problems for Washington’s deficits, threatening the dollar’s role as world reserve currency, and putting Social Security and Medicare on the chopping block. These protections are called “entitlements” as if they are some sort of welfare that people have not paid for in payroll taxes all their working lives. With over 21 per cent unemployment, with American jobs, GDP, and technology having been given to China and India, with war being Washington’s greatest commitment, with the dollar over-burdened with debt, with civil liberty sacrificed to the bogus war on terror, the liberty and prosperity of the American people have been thrown into the trash bin of history. The militarism of the U.S. and Israeli states, and Wall Street and corporate greed, will now run their course. “How America Was Lost" marks Roberts as one of the most incisive and courageous moral commentators in America today.

I think US should pay more attention to their internal affairs and stop stupid war mongering?
If EU want to have war with Russia then let them do it alone, same goes for US, have it on your own territory!!

Russia has not invaded Ukraine, but US/Nato have militairy personel and weapons in Ukraine

The US and NATO had no assets in the ukrain before the russian's had a build up on the Ukrainian border and crossed into the ukraine to assist the rebels by supplying armament and material, US sent some supplies into the ukrain after crimea was annexed, the Ukrainian government ask for assistance in fact they ask for assistance before crimea was annexed but the US rejected the request.

The so-called rebels are former Russians and now Ukraine rebels, and their Ukrainian illigal government just wants to eliminate their own people to get at the oil/gas supplies in the east. The weapons they use are Ukraine' own bought fron Russia before the collapse of the USSR They are simply murdering their own population, cutting of gas and electric in mid winter and bombing hospitals and civilians!! they are a murderous bunch of savages and not worth the name humans ? Russia at least will not let the east down and is the only supplying aid.
But that's only My opinion?

While I don't disagree with everything you have typed though, Social Security has become a welfare payout and has been that way for some time, a very good portion of SS goes to folks that never paid in to it and now obamacare is tied to it taking away from people that did pay into it, the one's that did pay into SS is getting hit both ways not counting that people are living longer siphoning more, my mom still alive and drawing SS, I retired and am drawing my SS and pension, I know what the hits are, see, I don't need to read about SS in some propaganda rag that you are reading, I'm living it! but what you have said about SS is very much the democratic base talking points generally reserved for election year.

Though, we are not talking about russia's internal policy but you seem to be dragging the US internal problems to the forefront amongst external disputes hmm, in politics they call that deflection, nice try though. Oh, if you ever read anything I posted in the past you would know I condemn the hell out of the patriot act. Paul Craig Roberts is in the same category as Alex Jones though not as nutty.

The anti American and pro russia movement is live and well! By that assumption above the Marshall Plan in 48 was an mistake then.

This is what I know to be true, go figure the coincidence, I've seen a sudden surge in PRO Russian PR occur in recent months on many forums and discussion groups

http://www.express.co.uk/news/world...loggers-flood-websites-pro-Russian-propaganda

I've seen similar especially in comments related in news articles critical of putin or his policy though it's easy to pick the one's that have legitimate grievances out of the one's that base the comments around propaganda for the most part. Youtube is full of trolls, we get em here and seen them on several bushcraft sites in the UK.

no russkie troops in Ukraine??? even the maniac admitted he sent troops over there,to a independent state to conquer it's territories, and what's new here; a russkie soldier admitted he shot 15 pow in cold blood,he shot men fighting for Ukraine, this he told to Kyiv Post and boasted about it..this from today 0656 local Fin time.
so take your propaganda for mad-Vlad and stuff it.
and yes, freedom is important,my country has fought for it and we intend to keep it,if neccesary we will fight for it.

and if you feel like the paradise is in the east under mad-Vlad rule, feel free to immigrate there Cerberus, enjoy the stay, but remember the old russkie way; when you no longer are of any use for the rulers there you just disappear,so many Finnish commies experienced that fate in the 30's and 40's....nothing has changed there...

and yes,I consider russia to be my nations enemy, nothing has changed over the years and I don't like collaborators.

...... and putting Social Security and Medicare on the chopping block. These protections are called “entitlements” as if they are some sort of welfare that people have not paid for in payroll taxes all their working lives.

To illustrate my point further... and I have hundreds regarding SS but this is just another and recent example of abuse to the tax payers though your news source don't tell you this does it;

Feds approved disability pay for Puerto Rican citizens … because they don’t speak English
http://www.washingtontimes.com/news/2015/apr/6/feds-consider-puerto-ricans-disabled-because-they-/

You can believe the dems and liberal talking points all you want, it is because of the **** above that has caused issues for us that paid in and as an fyi entitlements and welfare are for all intents and purpose is the same anymore, maybe you ought to dig a little deeper then reading the propaganda bologna in the rags ;)

The chopping block is needed badly!

they do the utmost to change the subject towards ; WEST IS EVIL...paradise is in the east,mad-Vlad is the salvation... disability for not speaking English??
and I thought we have screw-ups ideas here, that's a notch higher, but they produce ideas similar here too ;)
the fighting seems to start again, not that it did die away before, again 2 killed government soldiers...that seem to be the way the russian backed separatists honor the cease-fire.

or..is it a NATO-conspiracy??? uuuuuuuuuuuuuh...'cause they are so peaceful those separatists with their russian weapons..

as most of you know my country is quite small and our active army, made of conscripts and some regulars are only around 45000 strong, yet we have a capability to draft nearly 400 000 reservists, for our defence,to top that if needed this small country can muster and additional 500 000 more,I know those 500 000 are not all young men in their prime, but what they lack in youth they have in wisdom.
you might wonder where the heck did I get these numbers, but if my military sends over 900 000 letters to all in the reserve, explaining what placement they will have in a possible conflict, you can actually count what we have here to offer,it isn't so bad for a small country...and yes I DO KNOW that after those 900 000 gone ,we are empty..no one left to fight, hope it won't go that far

this is a strange nation, very calm,we don't make a number about us,we only wanna live in peace, enjoy a quiet life..but try take what's ours,no matter how big the opponent...we will fight..

I might soon be 50,but still I out-march a ****-load of those so called young men in their prime, they lack the stamina, and I intend to improve my chances even more ;) before this eventually turns into a Charlie Foxtrot..

those 500 000 are between 40-62 yrs...

Well friends, I'm getting some news about Kiev getting ready for major assaults on Donbass and other eastern regions in Ukraine, so it seems Kiev is ready to murder the rest of the eastern Ukrainien population and thereby provoking Our Vlad friend to answer and retaliate? Anybody have more news about these developments??

You mean the LEGITIMATE Ukrainian government intends to re-establish law and order within its own borders on its own land and Moscow is going to invade another sovereign nation like they did in Georgia.

Remember how Russia keeps telling other countries to stay out of its internal affairs, well Russia should keep its nose out of Ukrainian affairs.

And if you want to discuss MURDER on an industrial level lets talk about the Russian genocide in Chechnia and Georgia.

Yes I see your position but I have to correct you there a bit, first of all the Kiev government is Iligimate because it was not democraticly elected but installed by the west, the ligitemate government was ousted by force and the legal president had to flee? Russia has not invaded in Uktaine, but US/Nato are , look at lybia, Afghanistan Irak and in all 7 countries in 5 yrs as was the plan from The US?
