The Prime Minister (Morrison) recently very publicly denounced violence, threats and intimidation related to Covid.

But, he only denounced such behaviour by THE PEOPLE.

He fails to realise, as almost every politician fails to realise and/or will not admit, that EVERY mandate a government makes (Covid or otherwise) is ALWAYS a threat, intimidation and implied violence; if there was any choice whether or not a person need comply, they would not pass the law.

To put it another way: Their ideas are so good, they have to make them mandatory . . . and they can not depend upon the people to observe the native goodness of their initiatives.

Ask these geniuses "How on earth did humans survive on earth for 100,000 years without you looking after them and telling them what to do?"
Agreed.
The arseholes running the company I work for will not permit purebloods to attend site, and if we do, we have many constraints the jabbed people do not, e.g. always wearing the useless face masks . . . . all "for our own protection".

They have TOTALLY lost all my allegiance.

I won't even start on my revised opinion of the Australian police forces, whom I HAD a much higher opinion of than those in the US . . . until they became praetorian enforcers of covid mandates. I have come to the aid of Australian coppers in the past. I will never do that again; I now assume they are the aggressors.

Most places in the US have a multi-tiered system of law enforcement with local cops, county sheriffs deputies, and state police, all of which have overlapping jurisdiction in any town, and all of which are independent of each other. In most of the country this acts as a system of checks and balances to prevent a single law enforcement department from going rouge. It's not that unusual for police to be arrested by sheriffs deputies and vice versa.

The thing you have to keep in mind about non-federal U.S. law enforcement agencies is that they are all different and independent of each other. You really cannot make any kind of sweeping generalization about law enforcement departments in the U.S. (with one exception as noted below) One town the county sheriff may have primary jurisdiction, the next town a town marshal, and then the next town a police chief. We actually have all three here, with overlapping jurisdictions and sometimes conflicting jurisdictions. Even though we have a consolidated county and city government, we still have a separate police department and county sheriffs department, plus a city marshals office. My son got a traffic ticket from a city marshals deputy, even though the traffic cops are city police.

Where it all breaks down is in Democrat controlled big cities where they enough political muscle to squeeze out the higher law enforcement agencies from interfering with city police. And isn't it a remarkable coincidence - those are the same places that have BLM and ANTIFA riots. Hmmm.....

Yeah, there is a lot about the US I dislike, which is why I left in the 1980s.
But, one redeeming quality is that in many states the county sheriff is directly elected by the people.
That at least eliminates one level of hired guns NOT controlled by politicians . . . if we hope and assume the Sheriff is not a politician.
I noticed that most of the "law enforcement" leaders who have stood up to the government Covid BS in the US have been country sheriffs.

The politicians will only back off from their megalomania and dystopian crap when someone sticks a gun in their face; whether that is a county sheriff, state police or national guard (when the state governments wise up and start reclaiming their militia from federal control and logistics).

'"Some of the houses are severely overcrowded, with up to 15 people living in three-bedroom homes," she said.
"A lot of the [residents] are ringing me up, saying their power has been off for days.
"Three weeks' hard lockdown, they are going to get really, really frustrated and angry."
Raymond Assan, who has lived in Binjari for the past seven years with his wife, said people in the community were stressed about the reality of the hard lockdown rules, but understand the necessity.'
Sounds to me like people in the community are just bending over and taking it. Doesn't ANYONE there realize how bad it is to keep groups of people cooped up indoors??

Where did you live in the U.S.?
Several places, as my father was in the US Navy.
Did not spend a lot of time in the US as an adult.
Predominately Charleston SC (most of elementary school period) and Silicon Valley (school years 6/7/8, part of high school and some of the adult years).

Well Hell, Andrew, I hate the East and West coasts too and stay as far away from them as I can.

Charleston is like the New Orleans of the East Coast.

A proper vaccine (one that works in the same way as all previous vaccines) has been developed in Flinders University in Adelaide. It's suppressed in Australia and not available here. It's being rolled out in IRAN!!!! And to have a hope of being licenced by the TGA the developer is having to crowdfund it (Bring Covax-19 Vaccine back to Australia, organized by Sharen Petrovsky). I don't remember Pfizer, AstraZeneca or Moderna having to crowdfund their vaccines. This country is so sick.

In my opinion, the TGA (Australian equivalent to the US FDA regarding medicines), state Premiers, "Chief Medical Officers" and Health Ministers have denigrated the Australian health profession to the level where they perform quackery, not medicine.

Why do I say what they promulgate is quackery? Because they push an experimental solutions to Covid
- which are falsely "marketed" by the government as vaccines, when they functionally are not and their effect and protection is not that which is expected based upon traditional, well-used vaccines and
- whose side effects are not fully known or understood, and are not insignificant,
while ignoring tried, tested, low-cost, anti-viral treatments such as Ivermectin, hydroxychlorquine and monoclonal antibodies which have been proven effective empirically by numerous health professionals in numerous countries, both on an individual level and on a macro (jurisdiction) level.

I totally agree Andrew.
I found this on Telegram, from an unnamed doctor -- a letter of resignation that says it all (a bit long, but well worth reading).

'To the Australian Health Practitioner Regulation Agency,

I would like to advise you that I will be cancelling my registration as of today. I expect my recent payment for the upcoming period to be refunded in full. At this stage I do not intend to return to the profession, and I will be retiring approx 20 years earlier than anticipated. As a defence veteran who served this country to protect our people's rights and freedoms, my heart is broken that our society and the health profession has so openly accepted discrimination and division. I reserve the right to reconsider my registration, without prejudice, if and when the health sector returns to working with ethical and moral standards.

I am disheartened and disgusted by the lack of ethics and the sudden widely accepted discrimination running rife in the medical profession in response to COVID-19 and the relevant government mandates that appear to breach medical ethics and human rights. The health sector (and you as the regulating body) has allowed itself to be politicised and used as a tool to coerce, rather than educate and empower patients and the wider community, when deciding on the best individualised patient-centred care. And yes, individualised care MUST remain a core value even in a public health response. After all, the public are simply a collective of individuals who live together in our community. Fear has replaced compassion. Coercion has replaced consent.

I cannot work in a system that supports medical apartheid, division and discrimination. A system that has allowed itself to be politicised rather than honouring the sacred relationship between a patient and their health practitioner. My first lessons at university were about empathy, respect, medical autonomy and informed consent. I was taught that I should ALWAYS include a treatment option to "do nothing" and that I need not understand or agree with a patient's decision, but I am morally and ethically obliged to respect and abide by it.

I cannot accept that public health should come at the expense of an individual's health. Hearing some of my patients, friends, family and colleagues relay stories about the discriminatory, rude, mean, fear-mongering manner in which they have been treated and continue to be treated disgusts me to my very core. And trust me, I have heard way too many of them. If you're not hearing these, maybe stop and listen with an open heart and mind. The stories are plentiful. I sent a letter to AHPRA dated 2nd August 2021 outlining some of my earlier concerns, yet no-one from AHPRA has even bothered to respond.

I cannot accept that it is okay for health professionals to refuse to treat patients based on their decision to consent to a medical procedure, especially one that remains a medical trial with no long term safety data. I cannot believe that elderly patients have had to wait outdoors during winter because they have a mask exemption or that a cardiologist has refused to see a patient who was unvaccinated even though their appointment was to discuss valid concerns about the vaccination due to a cardiac history. A skin specialist refused to see a little girl, and a young boy was turned away from a private hospital to have his open head wound repaired because their parents were unvaccinated (both single mothers).
Physios, GP's, optometrists...the list goes on. This is abhorrent, unethical and inexcusable.

YOU, my regulation body, should be insisting that your practitioners act ethically, morally and respectfully at all times, and not simply in line with state government mandates that appear to breach the Nuremberg Code, the Geneva Convention, The United Nations Convention, The United Nations Declaration on the Rights of Indigenous Peoples, The United Nations' Universal Declaration on Human Rights, The Magna Carta and The Constitution of Australia.

I cannot accept that our government can mandate any medical procedure, ever. As my 16 year old told me when I got home from work one day recently, our government is breaching ALL of our human rights (he decided to look them up himself, unprompted - proud mum moment). When exactly did we sell our souls and morals?

I cannot accept that my children or yours need to have a medical procedure to be allowed to play sports, go to the cinema or work, when no-one can possibly answer questions and concerns about long term or intergenerational health impacts, because the data quite simply doesn't yet exist. By all means, provide access to it, but the risks are unknown. Where there is risk, there must be choice.

I cannot accept that informed consent exists where there is fear and coercion. When a patient arrives for a medical procedure and says they're only having it to keep their job, that is NOT fully informed consent. Any practitioner who continues with that medical procedure breaches medical ethics. Check the immunisation handbook, it's right there in black and white. I cannot work in an industry that suddenly believes this is acceptable practice.

I cannot accept that our pandemic plans were thrown out the window and the years of planning based on quality evidence and professional advice was dismissed. I am told to trust the science that led to the current decisions being made, but the government continues to fight tooth and nail to NOT reveal it to the public. And YOU, as my regulatory agency, have not been at the forefront in demanding that we see the evidence so that we can work to continually improve our understanding, knowledge and response.

I cannot accept that the scientific community is prevented from engaging in open and honest debate. Or that any medical practitioner who speaks against the public health advice is suspended, defamed or discredited. And I cannot accept that the health profession is not alarmed and reacting to the safety mechanisms we put in place after previous errors in science came to our attention (think Thalidomide as an easy example). The Australian DAEN, United States VAERS and UK's Yellow Card systems were set up for a reason and the data is well worth reflecting on.

I cannot accept that my registration body and professional association have done little to nothing to support health practitioners in remaining free from political intervention in the decisions they make for each individual patient. I was taught to personalise every treatment for every patient in order to maximise the best outcomes for them, something we used to refer to as patient-centred care. But for GP's and all other health professionals to be effectively gagged and threatened with de-registration from their right to practice for honestly discussing a patient's concerns and allowing them to feel comfortable with the best decision for them (while keeping public health in mind) is unacceptable.

I cannot accept that the public health response and messaging to the wider community has been so narrow. There appears to have been little to no effort in raising public awareness of the modifiable risk factors associated with severe illness and poor outcomes, let alone acting to reduce these risk factors. There appears to have been little to no messaging on ways to boost one's natural immunity and improve overall health, leaving people in a better place to fight any illness if necessary. There appears to have been little to no emphasis on early treatment options during the ambulatory phase of the disease. Instead, we leave patients isolated at home with little to no advice or treatment and wait until they are so sick that they need to be hospitalised. I have asked my GP multiple times for updated advice over the past 18 months and continue to be told, nope, there's nothing we can offer for early treatment. Despite a plethora of emerging evidence from overseas that we are not allowing to be openly and honestly debated or trialed.

I cannot accept that I need to live in a society where everyday citizens are banned from their workplace, attending their local library or getting a haircut unless they share their private medical information. There is no scientific or moral justification for someone's medical status to be linked to their ability to participate in society.
I cannot accept that schools are having children wear yellow wristbands to easily identify those who have mask exemptions and/or are unvaccinated so that they can be segregated from their peers. I know this to be true, my primary school aged child has a mask exemption and was picked up from school wearing a yellow wristband.

When the medical profession and society decide to respect the rights and privacy of the individual again, I will consider returning to my profession. But for now, I flatly refuse to participate in this nasty and divisive two-tiered society that you have helped endorse. I will not "show my papers" to be able to work, let alone enter a facility or building.
I quite simply will not participate in, nor accept, the discrimination. You have failed me and every citizen of Australia.

I agree with all of this.

Mick Fuller, the fascist New South Wales "Fingerman (formerly Police) Commissioner" was given the boot today. (They say he "resigned".)

My basis for calling him a fascist is that expressed on national television the view that people who demonstrated against NSW government repression were anarchists solely on the basis that the demonstration was forbidden and they demonstrated peacefully.
Well, maybe not peacefully . . . as the NSW Fingermen were very violent. But the demonstrators were peaceful.

He also made the statement that he would fully back any of his Fingermen who exceeded their powers if they issued a Covid "Health Order Violation" that was not valid.

With his views, I'm sure he can easily find a totalitarian state which will be happy to hire him.

There is a lot of uninformed opinion and scaremongering on various forums about the covid response in Australia.

We have had a lot of lockdowns here, and a lot of restrictions placed on us, especially if you are not fully vaccinated. In NSW, the State in which I live, much greater freedoms for the unvaxxed are promised to begin Dec15.

One of the biggest lies promoted by anti vax mouthpieces have included access to social security payments being denied to unvaxxed people in Victoria. Totally untrue. I worked for our social security dept for 16 years, and know that a state government has ZERO ability to dictate policy in this area. It is the sole responsibility, protected by S51 of our Constitution, of the Commonwealth Government.

I suspect another massive lie is that ADF personnel are forcibly injecting people. ADF is a large organisation, but people I know in the ADF who would know if this was taking place say it is not. All ADF were tasked with were manning border checkpoints, hotel quarantine and assisting State police checking home quarantine was being adhered to. And most of those tasks are finished.

Lockdown is a lot about mindset. Rules only apply if you allow them to. I have 2 rural retreats, the furthest about 350km from my home. Lockdown hasn't prevented me from visiting these retreats. We are a big country with a small police force. The cops cant watch every road 24hrs a day. They do high profile checkpoints for the media and to create enough fear to generate compliance by the people, then they pack up and go home. I got waived through one checkpoint just by looking like a tradesman and not a holiday maker ( white pickup with a heap ofnsewer pipes on top). Cop just looked at me and waived me through. Had I been towing a caravan or dirtbikes I would have been turned around. Lately there have been no checkloints and very few, if any, visible police presence on our rural roads.

Could you explain this video to us? Perhaps we are missing some context, and maybe we are reading too much into it, I don't know.

It appears to me that ADF are being used in a logistics role, helping with transport. They have no power of arrest apart from the general citizens arrest afforded to everyone. This is a long way from the (IMO false) reports of ADF dragging people from tneir homes and forcibly injecting them.

If that was happening it would be front page news all over the world, because unlike what most Americans believe we did not give up our guns in 1996. Most were stored away for a rainy day, and there are now more legally held guns than before the restrictions.

You didn't really answer the question.
Transport with what/whom? What "positive cases and close contacts" are being transferred and to where and is it voluntary?

Beyond the military taking innocent Indigenous Australians FORCEFULLY into ”camps” did you see how they determined they were positive for Covid? Saying they determined it from the SEWERS!!! Talk about a bunch of sh!t!

I don't have any facts on this event, just opinion. I've been to the NT several times, it is a large, remote, sparsely inhabited area. I doubt local police have the resources to transport numbers of people to a detention centre. They probably don't even own a bus. My guess is police asked army to transport covid sufferers from a remote community to the immigration detention centre currently being used as a covid quarantine centre. That would probably be the extent of army involvement. Why are they being moved? Because the govetnment has the legal authority to quarantine people suffering from covid19. Not right, but legal.

"Frostbite", because you're cold and dead inside?

"Frostbite", because you're cold and dead inside?
No, because one of my retreats is in the alpine region here and can get very cold by Australian standards. But your definition fits also, I only care about the people I care about. I won't lose any sleep if everyone else dies.
