The Buick Grand Sports were fast from the factory.
That's a '69. Fortunately those were rare. Remember, they didn't have 'Buick' engines.^^ Reminds ya of a 60's era Chevelle or even a Olds 442 ^^
They dropped Hi-Perf Oldsmobile big-blocks into those like they were bubble-gum.
Remember the Olds engines were used to slinging 6000 pound yachts around.
That 400 Olds engine that ran on 100 octane premium leaded gas could hand you an ***-whipping real quick.
Those engines were monsters, 4-foot wide from valve cover to valve cover and intake runners you could toss a tennis ball thru.
Like the Cutlass, they were bad-*** sleepers.
"You got outrun by a Buick!!!"
The only bad news: 8-10 MPG on premium.
