I guess Car **** is what it is to different folks. Where I grew up this is what we enjoyed. CJ2a, 3a MB or a frankenversion, as long as the ran through the woods! The flat fenders held beer’s nicely while you helped your buddy get unstuck.

And of course, firewood had to be gotten and hauled. Yeah, they never looked like much but they ran forever and always needed dickering with. Which is why you always had more than one. And if yours didn’t have the part you needed, call up your buddy to check his.

Then, you find a nice gal, so need something a bit nicer to take her around in. Maybe let her even drive it. The first ‘family car”!

Time comes and you need a work truck. So, you do some shopping around, list all the accessories you NEED to have on your work truck and head to the dealer! They have just what you were looking for too!!

And, this is the one you drive home. Come to find out all that chrome doesn’t come cheap!

And, you love that truck and baby it until it gets that first dent at a worksite. Mine was backing in with a palette of bricks. I ran over a board that sent a 55 gallon water barrel into the passenger door. Had the truck a whole week. two decades or so later you are climbing into this cab.

It doesn't need wheels. In a Porsche you fly...

Takes me back Woody... My grandpa had ww2 surplus Willys. Greatest ride in the world for a little kid on back country roads in summer! I wanted that thing sooo badly. Was sold to a putz with more money than brains after I left home but was still young and poor. He trashed it in 6 months then sold it for scrap.

@Sentry18 like the colors on that white and maroon chevy, looks sharp.
