Community quilt anyone?

I'm wondering if anyone is starting to make a quilt?
My idea is that everyone could contribute a piece (or more) of fabric by post then they would end up with a 'Homesteading Forum' quilt.
I don't really sew, so it won't be me, but having seen the lovely autumn quilt on here I have been inspired to set up my machine and make small things.

Several of us have done that before on another forum.
I am trying to finish 4 quilts now for the grandchildren for Christmas 2024.

The best quilt I ever saw was on my tenants bed.

Her husband passed during Covid after retiring from Corrections.

It was all his flannel shirts into a quilt.

I think that is a wonderful idea.
But there is a lot of work that goes into planning, executing, etc.
But if everybody wants to do it.
I'm in.

I would contribute a square to this....
However... I would need instructions... What rough size, to finish at what size, what kind of material and such...
