Yep, this is actually my local paper. LOL. I remember reading this, and agreeing. 40 million is pretty cheap to fix all of that. Drop in the bucket really.

40 million people, $1million each. That's only $40 trillion dollars. Hey, let's triple the national debt, what could go wrong?

And where do you find 40 million people who are WILLING to work? Not just willing to collect a paycheck, but have skills and would actually do the jobs. And buy American cars? They half come from other countries as they are. Dodge is owned by Fiat, a foreign company. GM is owned by the corrupt union. Is that who you want to support? And this will be great for realtors, but most over 50 worth a lick already own a home. Many of those who don't own do not want to and wouldn't maintain the houses if they could own.

LOL, you're absolutely right! I totally spaced on that too. It would be 40 trillion...lol!

However, the 40 million people are ALREADY in the workforce, that was the guy's point, and a CONDITION of the million would be to do those things, buy an American car, buy a house or pay off mortgage....

Still though, yeah.....it's funny how since the source was an older guy, some of us are just too willing to accept the math without even thinking about it, LOL.....
