I used to work on an industrial oven that coated carpet, we had a surplus of this stuff lying around, I bought a junker car and replaced every hose on it with this stuff, it seems it withstands 500 PSI and 250+ degrees.

On a side note, its the best gas siphon hose on earth, you can see the gas coming! after 25 years, I still have pieces in use in critical areas that might freeze, I don't know about sub zero, but its been at or below freezing for days here, no issues at all!

Polyurethane Rubber hoses are great high pressure hoses, up to 200psi. They are not high temp, usually rated less than 200 degrees.

I still use this type hose around the farm, had a couple boxes left over from work. I previously used them on a catscan, couple of components needed to be water cooled, had it’s own chiller system.

It’s a tough hose that remains pliable even with age. But at $5 per foot for 1/2inch, $8 per foot for 3/4".... I wouldn't use it on a vehicle engine. I had to use it once for a heater core. Replaced it with automotive hoses as soon as I get a proper replacement.

I think the ones I used had a silicon content or something, they withstood boiling temperatures+ all day for months on end.
