As I’ve said here before, now would be a good time to consider selling and making a move to more sustainable water resources. You can bet that when things get really dry it will be hard to give away land in some of the hard hit areas.
I would say the time to buy was just after the 08-09' housing crash. I sold my townhouse a year before.
But, yes, I would agree to move to somewhere that has more reliable water sources sooner than later.
If this trend continues, I expect there to be a mass migration in and around the Great Lakes area. The second and third order effects of that could be interesting, and not in a good way.
