1. Small town. Went to school with mostly the same group of kids k -12. A few came n went over the years but small rural redneck schools so everyone went to the same parties..and most groups had a mix...mulitasked rednecks I guess..athletes, nerds, cowboys n girls, some dis fancy horse shies, others strait rodeos, track cheer softball choir, honor roll..
I went to my friends highschool graduation in Gilroy ca..near more city areas and the school kids politics were well defined and it was a culture shock. Her classmates were *******s..

2. Pups, barn cats, 2 aging 🐐, a slew of chickens n turkeys and all my trees n bushes that give me delicious fruit for my efforts.
And my lime tree..she's a sweet girl..gives me limes.

3. Back yard for my view n chilling..bed when I'm tired, lazy chair for being lazy..shop for puttering..middle of field when I'm contemplating the universe..

4. Just what I always do..get stuff done n relax

5. Both..I love it all..I just have to control my gluttony

Fun questions..!!

That's why it didn't work out. It was 100% his fault for being named wrong.
No, that wasn't it at all.
I can share a lot of things but my husband isn't one of the things I will share.
My marriage was crowded: me,my husband, and his girlfriend was in it.
Wasn't room for me and our sons.
Hence why I have trust issues.

Android

Two Linux (Mint) computers, a couple Raspberry Pi's running Linux, and two Windows computers.

Tomatoes! Lots of varieties - please don't make me choose!

Three cats, a dog and a Senegal parrot. The parrot is the boss.

Favorite TV show would be Firefly. I really don't watch TV anymore. Favorite radio program is probably Echoes. I used to regularly listen to The Survival Podcast by Jack Spirko, but I haven't in a while. Maybe I'll listen to TSP today while I work.

Great questions!
Almost my bedtime and have been awake since about 2:30 am. When I first read you had two linux, I thought it was the pet question and read it as 2 linx and thought is that legal? - then reread 🙄

1. What group of people did you hang out with in High School?
There were 46 people in my graduating class, so we didn't really break into groups or cliques. But I was friends with the computer dorks, being one of them.

2. What living things do you take care of every day?
Myself, my wife, three cats, a dog and a parrot.

3. Where is your favorite spot around your home that you love?
In the living room in front of a fire with the TV off. Unless it's summer, then my favorite place is probably my home office.

4. If you have a day to yourself, by yourself, what are you doing?
Hiking in the woods or walking for miles along the Eerie canal.

5. Do you prefer salty things or sweet things, and what is your favorite?
Savory, so that means salty. Probably smoked ribs or brisket is my favorite.

1. What group of people did you hang out with in High School? Mostly guys who were in my Scout troop (we were no longer Scouts in high school and the guys and gals who were in our high school conservation club). We would get together on many weekend nights at a local park, build a campfire, and sing songs. Most of the songs were by Peter, Paul & Mary, Simon & Garfunkel, Bob Dylan, and other contemporary folk singers. Which one below is me?

Just now getting around to answering

1. highschool in Germany is different from here, it starts in 5th grade and ends either in 10th or 13th , depending on what school you go to and what you want to do, so it is not like here, plus everyone in my highschool was pretty much the same ( German, white middle class and smart LOL) so there wasn't any specific groups that hung out, we all got along pretty well. There were around 40 kids in my class, and the classes stay the same until 11th grade when you get to pick certain subjects. I had 3 really good girl friends there, but my best friend went to a different school

2. currently 31 sheep, 42 goats, 4 dogs, around 20 chickens , 1 husband, 1 son ( I feed them LOL), plus gardens in summer but there is not much left

3. my recliner in the livingroom. We have really large windows and a beautiful view

4. I never have any days by myself, but today I am sort of resting from all the activity the last few days and I am sitting here watching Netflix, will take Otto for a hike up the mountain later ( but I really didn't rest all that much, just got done stacking some wood)

5. really both, or combination of both, perfect thing that has both is Korean fried chicken with spicy sauce ( sweet , spicy and salty) or a good cake like blackforest cake

looking at everyone else's answer I guess 5 was junk food , so that would be chips for me

Okay, I know this is early, but otherwise it would be late! I apologize if any of these are repeats. Here we go:
1)What is your personal anthem or quote?
2)What is your favorite memory with your family when you were a child?
3)When was the last time you climbed a tree?
4)Where or what is your personal heaven or place to be?
5) Are you afraid to die?

Great questions Buttercup! Early is ok! 1) Better not answer that one 😮! 2) Setting up the Christmas tree! That and hanging outside lights with my Dad! 3) I climbed a tree two years ago. Hubby got his saw stuck in another tree close by. I climbed a tree to throw a rope around the one he was felling so he could pull it it down with the old garden tractor. Everything went well except for me trying to climb down! No more tree climbing!! 4) The pool, watching all the critters, and the woods! 5). Not afraid to die, but have no desire to do so!

1. “There is only one tactical principle which is not subject to change. It is to use the means at hand to inflict the maximum amount of wound, death, and destruction on the enemy in the minimum amount of time.” – General George S. Patton Jr.

2. I only remember one Christmas with two parents. The woman who birthed me made a big meal and my pops carried me around the room as she cooked. We opened presents and sang songs then watched a Christmas related movie. I think I was 5 or 6 years old.

3. A few weeks ago. Went on the hike with the lady and was showing off. Only climbed up one branch though.

4. I have no personal heaven, only actual heaven. Unless you mean a female run topless gun store that sells donuts, then that place.

5. I have no fear of death as I am already dead to this world and alive in Christ. I will merely move from this place to another, better place. Although it is possible that death is afraid of me.

1)What is your personal anthem or quote? EMBRACE THE SUCK

2)What is your favorite memory with your family when you were a child? When I was older , helping Dad set up the presents for the younger brothers and sister.

3)When was the last time you climbed a tree? Sometime around 1990

4)Where or what is your personal heaven or place to be? Sitting on the sofa with Lori and the cats, watching a movie and eating popcorn.

5) Are you afraid to die? No, the preparations are done, and when it's my time, I'm ready. Nobody gets out alive :p

5) Are you afraid to die?
1)What is your personal anthem or quote? I'm not sure.

2)What is your favorite memory with your family when you were a child?
Waking up one morning and one of my uncles was sleeping in my brother's bed. He had gotten out of the army, taken the train to Mobridge, South Dakota. My dad went to pick him up to drive him halfway home. I don't remember how he got the rest of the way home.

3)When was the last time you climbed a tree?
I must have been around 10. I always had a tree that I claimed as mine and I climbed it frequently in the summer months.

4)Where or what is your personal heaven or place to be?

Home, by myself. Peaceful and quiet.

5) Are you afraid to die?
Nope! I have been waiting for many years to see my mother again.

Okay, I know this is early, but otherwise it would be late! I apologize if any of these are repeats. Here we go:
1)What is your personal anthem or quote?
When you see that trading is done, not by consent, but by compulsion - when you see that in order to produce, you need to obtain permission from men who produce nothing - when you see that money is flowing to those who deal, not in goods, but in favors - when you see that men get richer by graft and by pull than by work, and your laws don't protect you against them, but protect them against you - when you see corruption being rewarded and honesty becoming a self-sacrifice - you may know that your society is doomed. -Ayn Rand

2)What is your favorite memory with your family when you were a child?
Camping at Forked Lake in the Adirondacks

3)When was the last time you climbed a tree?
It's been a few years.

4)Where or what is your personal heaven or place to be?
That's a toss up. Either sitting by the fire with a thick blanket of snow outside, or sitting on an empty beach and listening to the waves. In both events, family must be with me!

5) Are you afraid to die?
No, but I am afraid of a long, lingering death where I become a burden to others.

Great questions!!

1.) "The only place success comes before work is in the dictionary." I have heard it was attributed to Vice Lombardi, but I don't know for sure. Still my favorite quote, and words to live by.

If it was an anthem it would be Do You Hear the People Sing from Les Miserables.

2.) Christmas celebrations at my Great Grandmother's house in Brooklyn, NY. Four generations, all the aunts and uncles, cousins, turkey dinner, singing around the piano.

3.) Had to be at least 60 + years ago.

4.) A deserted beach somewhere with nice surf.

5.) No. I feel like I have made peace with the Lord, and I am ready.

Great questions, Buttecup. They bring back some great memories. Don't forget to pass the torch.

1. Just Breathe
2. Just me and mom in California in the house, except maybe one of her crazy boyfriends. She was always busy, but I remember one night around 11 she decided we should take out a wall, making an archway between the dining and living room. So we did. Sledgehammers. Turned out well.
3. Probably in my early 40's. I loved climbing trees as a kid, was always in one.
4. I've always wanted to be on the farm. And here I am.
5. Looking forward to heaven

1)What is your personal anthem or quote? Don't let the old man in.

2)What is your favorite memory with your family when you were a child? Going on 2-week long fishing trips in Northern Minnesota. We'd spend the entire two weeks at a Ma & Pa fishing resort. Not many of those left here in Minnesota.

3)When was the last time you climbed a tree? I occasionally climb a tree to tie a rope to so I can direct its fall when I am cutting it down. I also climb trees to my deer stand. I cheat by using these steps that screw into the tree trunk.

4)Where or what is your personal heaven or place to be? Front porch

5) Are you afraid to die? I love to live, but am not afraid to die. My eternity is secure.

I) Hold Fast To Dreams, For If Dreams Die, Life is a Broken Winged Bird That Can Not Fly.
2) Going to the lake cabin for a week once a year Some years ago... with all our Aunts, Uncles and Cousins on my mom's side of the family. Great fun...many moments, happy times...
3)I can't remember the last time for sure. But I also had a favorite tree growing up. I spent many hours up in the branches, among the leaves reading my books.
4)Western Montana has my heart. It is my home, always will be. It calls to me always. When ever I go home, the mountain air says home....
5)I love my life, but know that I am ready, when I will be called.

2. What living things do you take care of every day? my family, my animals, my plants
3. Where is your favorite spot around your home that you love? My bed
4. If you have a day to yourself, by yourself, what are you doing? Reading/studying/polytunnel not cooking or anything too practical
5. Do you prefer salty things or sweet things, and what is your favorite? Love savoury things, like Doritos

Little granddaughter did that a few times this year, and put them in a mason jar on the table. They looked so pretty.

It is so sweet that your girls pick flowers. Can we call this a gender difference? My grandson picks up rocks and sticks. :dunno: 🤣
