With all the news today I feel a need to develop a safe space to relax in within my home. Here are a few ideas but I can't quite settle on the right one. Any input is welcome.

There were too many choices. I like the idea of getting as many in one small area as possible. And room for two people to access them at the same time.

Yesterday I was doing some front porch (real physical one) cleaning. Then last night I lit a citronella candle I found and enjoyed the dark.

I use to burn a candle and just relax listening to spiritual music or blues. Very peaceful time. Granddaughter sent me a whole tape of spiritual songs ,may get them out tonight since haven't played them in awhile.

This is one on the CD. Have you heard it?

Wife feeds all of the stray cats in a 4 state area. One of the strays gave birth to a litter of four the first of this week. One of the kittens died over night so it will be interned in the wife's pet cemetery with about a dozen other cats. I'll take care of the burial when I get home tonight.

Maybe, @The Lazy L , there's a veterinarian in your area that for free or a low fee, would spay or neuter those strays. I know of a few people who feed feral cat colonies and also capture them for procedures like that, as well as vaccines.

This strayed showed up pregnant. As soon as the kittens are weaned the wife will take the mother to the vet. Wife has taken so many to the Vet that the Vet gives her a discount.

I've not heard it. Great relaxing music for the porch.
I was listening to the bugs and trees while sitting out there in the almost dark.
It could have been better with a little light rain on the tin roof.

I've been better! Did you know, @Sewingcreations15 this is a national holiday weekend for us in the U.S.? Lots of people taking a break from the boards. It's Labor Day on Monday. I've got 4:54 p.m. and I want to take a nap but probably will not. Happy Sabbath, dear one!

It's 9:16 p.m. here and I'm back home. Missing the farm. Ate the pizza the delivery guy brought and watching Bonanza. Unpacked the ice chests, but I'll deal with the rest tomorrow

Don't know ,first time I heard it was when g-daughter sent it to me a couple years ago, she made me a CD with 10 songs on it.
It is my sit alone in low light CD.

Today, 2 Sept 18, is the 49th anniversary of the 1st ATM. I have never used one.
