My brother makes grass small squares to sell to the horsey freaks. They run from 60 to 75 pounds. He's been selling them for $3 off the trailer or $4 if he has to store them in his barn.Yep. Your lucky if they are 75#’s these days.

Ummm...I don't know what to tell you. I use something like SPF 40 or 50 and I won't burn. But my skin only burns once and then it's tan until winter...These days I usually wear a light undershirt and a “light” long sleeve western shirt. More for sun protection than anything I guess. I’ve yet to find a sunscreen that doesn’t allow me to turn lobster in minutes.

I'm not sure what Missouri hay goes for. South Missouri is hilly and rocky. I doubt there's a lot of large scale hay production. North and Central Missouri make a crap ton of hay though...Now!?!? I pay $3.75 per bale just for cut, rake and bale!!! Holy cow we gotta get outta here
One thing I’ve noticed is Missouri has a lot of time of green grass. There is a “dry season” but nothing like here. Even if we had to buy hay it wouldn’t be in the amounts like here (in theory)I'm not sure what Missouri hay goes for. South Missouri is hilly and rocky. You won't here. Trust me on this. But I feel hotter without the cover shirt
I will trust you. I’m taking it as a positive adjustment. Think it’s a fair trade off vs being hereYou won't here. Trust me on this.
Right. There's definitely no need for irrigation in Missouri. So long as you don't over-graze you can run your critters on pasture from green up until winter. One thing I’ve noticed is Missouri has a lot of time of green grass. Hi Patch!Good morning @Patchouli!
I’m soooooooooooo looking forward to that. We’re downsizing greatly anyways.Right. There's definitely no need for irrigation in Missouri. So long as you don't over-rated you can run your critters on pasture from green up until winter.
Missouri has a lot going for it. I'm not so familiar with the far southeast part, but near Springfield would be a fine place to live and you'll probably do great. Hashbrown is from that area. He could give you pointers...I’m soooooooooooo looking forward to that. We’re downsizing greatly anyways.
Nice! Other than a few loaves of bread everything is done. Most presents are delivered now. It’s a good feeling isn’t it?I’m checking in, got most of the presents wrapped. Heard from a late arrival family member and am relieved they’re in the area and off the road. Spike, good descriptions of the heat and humidity, matches the east coast summer. Double R you’d probably love Missouri.
I hope he does. Once we leave here we can’t come back. The thought scares me but everyone I know who’s left doesn’t for a second regret it so I’m trying to be hopeful it’s the right decision. Hope people are nice. Especially hope they don’t hold this state against us. That’s a concern since so many crazies leave and take the crap with them and try and ruin other places.Missouri has a lot going for it. Are you still in Texas, Patch? This area feels good to most in my family but others are yelling about what a great place this is to live…the cost of housing has more than doubled since we moved here 13 years ago. I can’t afford it on my own. Late spring would be a great time for a trip. Just plan it and do it! I’m excited for you.
Went to bed early, rough day!! So GOOD MORNING!!Good evening everyone who’s still up

That’s the hope. Praying it works out very soon.Yeah, get DoubleR out of Cali!!
Yes, I’m still in Texas. We’re having a major influx of people from all over the U.S. relocating to the nearby metropolitan areas. My church is growing so much they’ve had to realign boundaries and create new wards (congregations) because there were too many people in the original wards. Are you still in Texas, Patch?
Yeah I've heard Texas is getting Californicated, especially in the Austin area. It's kind of sad, really. The California virus keeps spreading and ruining the good parts of the world.Yes, I’m still in Texas.
