Storms supposed to get to me tomorrow evening... I'm in the 4/5 risk zone, at this point it's a carp shoot. straight line winds, 50/60mph... then chance of tornadoes on top.
What state please?

Anyone remember the commercial that went "It's way in the back, past the mayonnaise" (refrigerator), from the 60's, maybe 70's? A friend used to say that often when looking for anything, even a wrench in the shop. Made me think of it...
Northern Alabama, western half of the state. The hope is with sunset and the loss of heat the storms will disparate before getting to the eastern half.
Most of north Mississippi is in the risky area also.

I thought our winds were bad today in the 30's. Have nothing on what you're expecting.
The last time this kind of wind was predicted here by NWS, was apr 27th 2011. Largest tornado outbreak in history. Hope that doesn't happen again. They did say they didn't expect a lines of supercells to form, just big sheer winds, fingers crossed.
Oh crap, we are going to get it here, bad storms! I texted Patchouli, I'll be up and keeping watch, let ya'll know!

It is only tangententally(sp?) related, but in the Ohio "Storm Spotter" training is a bit about "plastic flamingos". Please do not report when your plastic flamingos have been blown away.
