Roll overs will get you even when you know what you're doing so be careful. Almost got me last fall, a very complex piece of ground on a steep slope, stumps, trees and small ditches. I even got off the tractor and walked the ground first. But I knew a roll was still possible and was prepared, which is why I didn't go all the way over. But I was a breath away from stepping off the tractor and letting it tumble down the hill.
I've never run a fail mower, only seen a couple in this area, interesting. I can see where they would be useful but they are twice the price of a bush hog.

@Peanut I hear you! I don’t mow the very top of the hill because it’s not safe. Glad you didn’t roll! Be careful
The flail is wonderful but more maintenance and more “sensitive“ to what your mowing. But they do a great job that look good when you have a good one with good blades. Much cleaner looking end result

Well I guess here is as good a place as any to post an update re. my daughter.
First thank you to all who have commented or pm'd me and are praying for her, today was a doozy.
We spent 2 hours down at our local PD. Thankfully she had a female detective and my daughter was also smart enough to get proof of a lot of what went down. I didn't even know the half of it. I'm surprised she is still upright and alive, kids have committed suicide for less. She is one tough cookie.
That being said, the detective stated there is definitely a case here. She will be interviewing a few others, including the perp and the one who filmed the action, and some kids who apparently walked in. There were multiple occasions where this happened. After that, the file will go to the DA's office for prosecution. This boy had the nerve to call and message my daughter and some of her friends today. He knows he is in deep poop. The detective stated this could take a long time.
The icing on the cake - when we were driving home, and I asked my daughter why she didn't ask to stop and take a break or get some water, she said she wanted to get it over with -- and then dropped this "mom, everyone knows you never take water from a cop, that's how they get your fingerprints"
I about died laughing. She is just too much sometimes.

Dr J I had no idea this was going on. I am very sorry you and your daughter are having to go through a trauma like that.

Well we had some nasty wind today, but the weather was warm. It knocked over the giant metal rooster that's in our front yard. Had a little rain this evening, too.
