I started off the morning with stain removing some clothing and putting on a load of washing in the washing machine and hung it out and then watered half of the back yard in the house paddock. Once the washing was dry I took it in off the clothes line and DH and I folded up 3 loads of washing and put them away. I then sat down and worked out and made a list of what we need for the other half of our grocery shop for the 6 weeks and DH rang through the order to our supermarket as they stock so little that some things we usually use are out of stock constantly so best to order it a few days in advance and then we just pick up the rest of the items when we go in and shop.

This afternoon we fertilised all of the fruit, berries, herbs and vegetables with a tonic of Seasol , the watermelon with an all purpose organic fertiliser and the strawberries, corn and silver beet with urea.

Just about to have a nice coolish shower to cool off.

Afternoon. The ceilings in the back half of the downstairs are all painted now. I think I have enough to do the front half too but I have a load of furniture to move so I can get at the walls to paint them too. This really has become my winter project.

Well, hope she is better soon. I know the local news has been exploding about the dangers of the flu this year and that if a high fever last more than two days get to a hospital. In the mean time keep her hydrated with sports drinks.

I agree. I use Pedialyte mixed with equal parts water instead of sports drinks but either way staying hydrated is the point.

Have you been doing that all day?

No. I actually paid a bill, called the Subaru dealership, and took a nap.

I think I didn't eat enough for lunch and I am probably on the dehydrated side from not drinking enough water.

My neighbor texted me today. She is coming over tomorrow to help me with my dining room. She is making me move forward with this getting unpacked and organized project.

I do love my kitchen since she came over on Friday to help. It is like a whole new kitchen!

The snow is done for now. Hope it doesn't start blowing.

She's a little better this afternoon. Fever is down to 100.1 right now. But you know how fevers are. Up and down all the time. We'll go to the doc tomorrow if the roads are good. Thank you all for your concern.
