@BugoutBob 'as far as evidence of when we were younger, Polaroid camera's came out in the 60s!
But we were too poor for such luxuries.

I have selective memory, I also have lost memories due to traumatic brain injuries and I have misplaced memories due to substance abuse in my younger years. My memory is best when it comes to useless obscure trivia, I used to do extremely well when Trivial Pursuit was a thing except in the area of entertainment and sports, them I am hopeless

I never was one much for drinking.
I drank like a fish. Being as big as I am I would just buy a pitcher of beer and drink from it. Who needs a tiny little glass, right?

But I stopped drinking around the 2000's and aside from one or two motorcycle camping trips where we were all telling tall tales I've not been drunk since then.

I was probably in mylate twenties before I understood that most people did not consume Mickey of hard liquor or a dozen beer every night and then party hard on weekends. It was what I had grown up seeing. Other magical delights came as a supplement in my teens. I no longer drink nor smoke nor use other recreational pharmaceuticals. I cannot afford to lose more brain cells

The substance abuse was my downfall. I didn't think it was abuse though then!

All the foregoing is spoken in a strictly hypothetical manner and not to be construed as evidence admitted or otherwise

Glad I never got into drugs. Alcohol and smoking was enough of an issue for me. Can't imagine what I'd be like as a meth head or something. :eyeballs:

I have a Sergeant Shultz mentality at times!

Fort almost got me hooked on hard lemonade but I've resisted getting another six pack since finishing the one I bought in August on New Years Eve. LOL :candycane:

I just stick to alcohol. ;)
I quit all of it in the90s. I swore off of cigarettes, drinking, drugs, and women!(this was after I divorced my first wife the second time) The women part didn't last long but I kicked the rest of it.

Okay, speaking of living the healthy life. I'm off to bed so I can go work out tomorrow and maybe buy a Remington 700 in .308 and a predator call.

Double R made me do it!

My whirlwind trip to the big smoke went really well all things considering.

My senior knee surgeon retired so I have another taking over my knee management. I have yet to meet him but I'm informed he's exceptional.

My senior shoulder surgeon has called in a second surgeon and I met him for the first time today.
He has a nice manner and actually listens which is awesome.
He's never dealt with an EDS sufferer before so it's a good opportunity to educate another "expert".
The senior surgeon is a bit alarmed that he'll be seeing me again after he fuses both shoulders to deal with both hips..hahahah the fun just never stops.
The trip went without a hitch and I had the audio bible playing as I drove.

The GP is sending a referal to my cardiologist to get me fitted with a Holter monitor.
*sigh*
I have.....issues.
