I’m tired but plugging along.
Lots going on. Hoping to get caught up in the next week or two before our calving starts. Being sick took away a lot of valuable time I needed.

I am having Nutella on toast with a glass of milk and a hard cider.

I had eggs for a snack this afternoon. My blood sugar dropped and that's a fast fix.(it only takes a couple hours to start feeling better). I'm telling y'all! Take care of your body, you'll appreciate it when you get older.

Had a bit of a treat for dinner....Pess's cousin came over, fixed monstrous Chorizo/Mushroom burgers, Texas fries, cole slaw and a huge pot of hot chocolate!! Bless her heart!!

@squirrelhunter I thought of you yesterday evening. I took a shotgun out that my gramps gave me when I was 9 and got some squirrels for some dumplings. It still shoots as good as new!

Hey,good going. I'm going to try to get out 1 more time before the season ends, especially since this will be the last year I'll be able to hunt that place since Bill died. After 40+ years hunting that place it's going to be hard to loose it, especially since it's basically my only place. Going to have to.start knocking on doors I guess.

It was....didn't realize how good Chorizo/Mushroom burgers were!! Loaded with lettuce, tomato, onion, and a slice of Provolone on top...GREAT!!

Yeah and what's sad is,if he'd lived just a little longer the place would've been mine,he was in the process of changing his will to leave it to me. In fact 2 days after he died he had an appointment with the lawyer to look at the rough draft of it,but that's how it goes sometimes.

Morning Chemists. I've decided that since you all do a lot of work on HCL (hydrochloric acid) you all must be chemists. LOL Guess I needed a good nights sleep as last night my right hip was killing me and this morning feels fine. Maybe I pushed it too hard at the gym yesterday? Any ways, need to get bundled up to check the sites on the Remington today and do some little house chores I've been delinquent on like burning paper trash. Later Chemists.

Yeah I know. He was bad about putting things off,he wouldn't have even gotten that far if I hadn't finally offered to call the lawyer for him,he'd been talking about changing it since last summer around June or July,I kept thinking to myself "well don't just talk about it,do it,let's go".

What's sort of funny and also not good is from what he told dad,the guy farming the property and me and my wife was that he was leaving it to Char which was helping him right after he had his stroke and lives right next to it. She wanted him to give it to her then but he wouldn't and she didn't have the money to buy it,so he was giving it to her in his will. What he told dad not long after that was he was leaving her his house too which is next door. From what the guy doing his Estate is saying,so far he hasn't seen anything saying she gets the 80 acres by her place,she's only getting his house,everything in it and the 2 acres it's on. He had just sold the other 30 some acres that was with his house,a few years ago. So the royal B***h might be moving in next door . So in a nut shell,she doesn't get the 80 acres by her but might be my neighbor Bill must not have been thinking right then or now because he swore she was never in his will to get the house,only the 80 acres,so I'd say he accidentally did the opposite and didn't know it.
