So just got in from shooting the new gun and it looks good for my needs and functions better than I expected. Lat night I used my wheeler site in tool to rough site the scope. That usually gets me on paper at 200ft. So at just over 200 from the back door of my barn on a 10 inch steel plate I got this, one resting and two standing.

Then I moved to the back deck after removing snow and shot the six inch plate fully supported and 100+yards.

That's as dead center as I think I can get a shot even with a 22LR. LOL So overall gun seems like a great little investment set up as it is for $400 out the door. Tomorrow I'll try to get up bright and early to call in some coyotes, which means I better not be on here past 11pm. :(

Good shootin! You can do like I do at times. Sign off the forum and go huntin or fishin! You can never get in the field to early.
Good luck tomorrow!

Gumpy, wasn't it you that would post from the stand?

Dang, I got that right.

I detailed my Toyota pick up today. Took damn near all day. This kid is over and out! You all be nice to each other in here tonight and with the big guy's blessing upstairs, I will be back in here bright eyed and bushy tailed in the mornin!
My Acura is next right????
And my name is "Hun" LOL!

Bob, I'm actually Mark. Call me anything, just not late for dinner!

I second the anything but not late for dinner!

Mark, I’m actually not Bob, I’m Kevin. NTMU
Aren’t you a sneaky one!

So anyone do anything today or was there an unannounced National sit out today? LOL

Darn it Kevin, how come we don't change your name to Bug out Kevin?

Here is the truck I did today...View attachment 2884
truck looks nice. Bugout Bob has a ring to it, Bugout Kevin doesn’t. Plus BOB is also Bugout Bag which doesn’t work with Kevin. Plus I have been bob on forums for years, too confusing to change

@Double R didn't you have a coyote pelt you froze and then defrosted and tanned?

Just had a tail I froze.
Ahhh, okay. If I shot a coyote I'll likely have to skin it and the just stretch the pelt before it freezes as the weather is way to cold to tan it the only way I know. So I was wondering if a frozen pelt will be able to be tanned or if it will mold before I can get it tanned with heat and salt?
