I have to ask... who built it? More importantly, who built the engine? (old school thinking). I'm happy for you though, whoever built it! :)

My 84 yrold dad insists on taking rolls of hay to the cows, on a Brazilian built Massy. I cringe every time I hear it fire up! I have to buy a new seat for it every couple of years so his hinny doesn't get wet!

They are from Japan. The first two years the tractor was VERY impressive. Sadly a small problem turned into big issues and a VERY POORLY handled situation on the part of the manufacturer.

It would appear it is a Mitsubishi engine in the LS tractors but that has changed over time and would depend upon model name and year.

LS Tractors is an engineering company. It is a division of LS Cable in South Korea. The group was originally part of the LG conglomeration, and was known as LG Tractors and LG Cable, respectively.

LS is associated with
Mitsubishi tractors of Japan for technology, and many tractors are based on Mitsubishi designs, as well as use Mitsubishi engines. New Holland Ag also imports LS tractors to resell as LS-New Holland. (They originally had agreements with Fiat, which purchased New Holland. New Holland is a division of CNH Global).

LS formerly supplied base models for Montana Tractors which were then assembled in North America; and sold under the Montana brand name. This agreement ended when LS decided to begin their own imports and dealer network in 2009. They used to build for Farmtrac, a division of Escorts Agri of India, for sale in North America; and for TAFE Tractors of India also for sale in North America.

Double R, how is the new Blue? It's been 24. I know you took for a test drive! Didn't fall asleep in my recliner tonight... wish I could. :(

We didn’t touch it today. It’s still sitting in the barn.

I’m sorry you didn’t fall asleep!
We’re just eating dinner. Or is it breakfast at 12:30am? Lol
How was your day @Peanut

That’s good to hear except the still up part. We’ll actually I’m happy cause I get to say hi.
We’re just eating dinner. Been a long day.

Death is part of life and she knows where she is headed after. Nobody enjoys the dying part though. It’s a good truck but just can’t justify the cost of having it sitting there doing nothing. We could use the cash more.

We have foggy springs and autumns especially early morning evening. Comes from living at the junction of two rivers in the midst of mountains.

Looks like my sleep drugs might finally be going* to kick in. Good chatting* with you if only for a moment. Sleep well and have a good night.

Signing off. We be gone now, bye bye

Rainy Ohio day but at least the temps are supposed to make it to the 50's. Then we start the slow slide thru the week back to the 20's by Friday. Taking off in a while to go work out and maybe stop at Walmart for some stuff. I suppose if I really want to start a rainy day project I could tear down the Winchester 100 and see if I can figure it's issues out. Gonna make Forts jigsaw puzzle look like a toddler puzzle.
@Fort I guess that would be a real challenge for you is to start tearing down some firearms to do cleaning and oiling so they don't rust. Something I do a lot and wish my dad had done more of instead of just sticking firearms in a towel in the back of a closet.
