I only sleep from 10 pm to 7 am...
that's it...

No naps either.

how I envy that. One of the issues with my traumatic brain injury is that parts of my brain literally never shut off. That means I must have an additional couple hour nap every day to function. Naps suck

that's terrible. So you are not really up late because you are about 2 hours later than me. I'm here because I thought somebody had to keep an eye on things.

thanks for the sympathy, but it’s how life goes. I’m just here for a few minutes tonight

So I went and spent $90 refilling my tool bag today at Harbor Freight. A small investment in making myself as useful as possible on the job. I may get myself a birthday present at Cabelas tomorrow if I can find a decent set of Lee .308 cal reloading dies. Pretty sure I have everything else I need as far as primers and powder.

The first of my cotton table cloths came in the mail today. Before my grandpa passed my aunt moved in here to care for him. She must have found a five and dime with a going out of business sale and bought every vinyl/plastic table cloth they had.

I found a dozen still in the original packaging when I moved here many years later. I didn’t like any of them and came to despise the crackling plastic sound every time I sat down to eat. My practical side wouldn’t let me throw them away so I used them. The last one ripped after new year’s. I ordered 5 new cotton table cloths last week.

When I teach a plant class I put a small table under a shade tree in the yard and I use a vinyl table cloth for that. If it gets stained by a plant or the wind blows it across the yard it doesn’t matter. I’ve been using that one in the kitchen temporarily.

Anyone hear anything from Gumpy.?Haven't seen him here in a couple days

Eat yogurt! Don’t need a yeast infection on top of it all.

I haven’t and am worried about him as well.
@gumpy WERE ARE YOU???? WE’RE WORRIED ABOUT YOU!!!!

You are right. I hope he is okay. :(

I agree. Hopefully he checks in soon. He’s missed for sure!

I'm so lost ... :(
I'm sorry y'all! I didn't mean for anyone to worry bout me. I didn't have money to spare to update my phone till payday(today)! I think that I notified one of the staff members but I don't remember who?! It's good to be back! I missed y'all!

@gumpy and welcome back think everyone missed you including us :D .

Having late lunch and eating granola before we get back into doing some more around the house before the Sabbath tomorrow.

@Peanut I make my tablecloths around here amongst lots of other things including curtains and yes vinyl tablecloths drive me spare too but would use them for potting plants and so on or for known messy eaters for dinners.

I am a linen fiend. I love them. Tablecloths, table runners....but they can't be plastic

I know absolutely nothing about table linens. What I ordered off the internet is probably garbage but at least they are all made from cloth. When I got disabled (20 years ago) I moved back to the family farm to my grandpa’s old house. It was partially furnished. My medical bills were already growing so before I moved I sold everything I knew I wasn’t going to need like my hand made kitchen table. It was made from poplar, beautiful, so I never needed a table cloth, just place mats.
I wish I hadn’t sold that table…
