Ha! I fell asleep with my phone in my hand!

I was tired. Who's still awake? Anyone? Awake anyone? Anyone?

Yeah, I'm sorry. Did get the blocks completed and waiting on the lumber to be delivered. Those blocks almost got the best of me!

Glad to see you back!
You were missed.

Believe it or not it's cooled off here and it's raining!
Our wet season was a complete bust so any rain is very welcome.

I couldn't wait for the pumpkin soup to cook in the slow cooker so I heated up a tin of beef chili.
*sigh*
Big mistake.
I took a nausea wafer before 20mins before I ate and I'm allergic to reflux drugs so I'm really struggling to keep it down.
I'm laying very still and breathing deep and slow.
Eating something warm and nourishing shouldn't cause you this much pain.

Cow pies are not gross when composted, they taste like onions, peppers, tomatoes or anything you place them around, by Spring.
I remember the bare foot pasture meeting wet cow pies.

Gumpy

Sorry, I forgot You told me about your phone running out.

Next time tell me twice..:callyou:

Day didn’t quite go as planned. Instead of my usual 4 k walk with the dog, my darling bride came and we did about 8k some of it bushwhacking through two feet of snow. It was interesting to note that all the Douglas firs in the bush had dripped sap into the snow ... leaving yellow stains and not the type of yellow snow you are warned not to eat. Wonder what nutritional value if any in Douglas fir sap. Something to research.

I know birch and maple both produce a sap that is high in sugar content.

Foot of fresh snow last night and above freezing temperatures, so I spent 2 hours blowing slushy water and snow. Ice blockage knocked a bolt loose and dropped the belly pan of the snowblower loose so I have repairs to make tomorrow

Check amazon... syrup can be made from lots of trees. Here in the south its sometimes made from Black Walnut. I've seen it on sale on amazon. If Douglas fir sap has value some one will be selling it on amazon... Its amazing some of the things I've learned about plants from checking what is being sold... ;)

And the winner is. ... http://www.naturalmedicinalherbs.net/herbs/p/pseudotsuga-menziesii=douglas-fir.php

So there may be small value in eating yellow snow after all :woo hoo:
